What is this Xcite thing anyway? Xcite is a set of scripted objects and HUD control panel that take all effort and creativity out of any intimate encounter you may want to engage in. I was curious so I gave it a try. Honestly, it's a crutch 99% of the time for people who have no imagination and no writing skills. The only legitimate use I can see would be for Submissives who want to relinquish all control to their owner/master/mistress/etc. IMO, Xcite looks like fun, but should be passed on. |

Or that the grown-up thing to do would be to feign a lack of surprise and annoyance upon learning such things happen? I'm actually pretty disappointed. I hear all these criticisms of SL being so full of sex and unsavory activity and I think, "Ah, they are exaggerating." Then I hear of shit like "public sex areas" and I just have to shake my head. I mean, I can understand fulfilling some unsatisfied desire with a special person in SL or whatever, especially if your first life doesn't give you that option for whatever reason, but this "public sex area" shit is just prurient and excessive. Eh, as they say, every new medium will be used for sex. If you dont like to have sex in public than dont! The residents of SL dont need your prudish permission. |
