The last time this happened (less than a month ago) the perp had the gall to post on the forum saying he couldn't log in and acting as if he couldn't understand why. Could be the same MO with a bit of alteration in a lame attempt to disguise.

Truthful or not? You paint a pretty draconian picture of LL. I would hope that if Adohan really WASN'T responsible, LL wouldn't ban him, certainly.

It blows my mind how some butt-dumpling scripts a malicious prim, and people actually blame LL. If I shoot someone's dog with a bullet I bought at WalMart... who's to blame for the death of the dog? WalMart or me?

Why did SL take the private sims down? Self replicating items can't spread to private islans can they?

I don't undestand the reason for taking the private sims down.

Accordin` ta one of the posts on one of the official forums, the ASSET SERVER was bein` overloaded. This affects ALL sims, no?

Actually... when the culprit... the ACTUAL culprit is caught... LL should turn the little sack of turds over to the FBI. A Denial of Service attack is a felony offense in the USA.

Kinda reminds me of when the power goes out for a day or two, brings the family together, sitting around talking. Then I get reminded WHY I withdraw into the internet

I had my Private Island sim locked and off the grid while i was working there. My sim was not affected not did i get any prims show up there.

I had to get booted by a linden administrator. This is already a major inconvenience to all and to major land owners. I THINK SL NEED TO GIVE REFUND FOR EVERY HOUR YOUR ACCOUNT REMAIN INACCESSABLE ON PAYING ACCOUNT AND ON MAJOR ACCOUNTS.

WHAT i call a griefer attack: TERRORISM!!

This crap need to Stop!

Sheesh, and always with the spirals and spheres and junk? I hope the next time some loser pulls some BS like this they at least make the payload object of doom something good. I'm partial to giant panda bears, but that's just me - prim babies or impeach bush signs would be a refreshing change... just sayin'...

If it's preventable, there should be some blame. While I'm new to SL, I'm not new to MMORPGs by a long shot.

I'm sure they know by now or will soon know who did it, and then ban them. What good does it do, though, if they don't fix the problem/bug/whatever that allows these to happen in the first place? Somebody said it's happened three times this month (I'm assuming they are talking about the same kind of attack). If the fix is simply to ban people, then we will keep on suffering through this.
