At the risk of starting shit with you on this board Lana, these sentiments, coming from a person who runs a place that has a "slut of the week" contest, is pretty asinine. Imagine what people going to your establishment might think of your class -- especially during a scene or some of the public playing around I've heard goes on there. You might say that they just don't understand what you all are about -- but isn't that what you yourself admitted below? That you don't understand the culture? People in glass houses should be careful when playing with rocks and all that....

Beyond that, calling two quotes out of the what... 30 or so? that have been made on this thread alone and basing an opinion of the entire group solely on those two statements. Especially after this community has pretty much started out by condemning them as a group without doing much research other than reading one thread and listening to the experience of one person. Wow that's quite the welcome. If I'd had that sort of a welcome, I might not feel real compelled to be all that civilized either.

The more I read this thread the more I'm ashamed to be a part of this community. I cannot believe the wholesale discrimination and hate that's been dumped on this group and it is entirely undeserved. While this group has a few members that have, admittedly, posted some colorful things, the majority of us have all posted and done some colorful things during our time here. Additionally, there's an equal if not greater number of this group that is eloquent, polite, and has taken the time to try to explain themselves and make amends for whats gone wrong.

And btw, where the hell are the resmods? Oh right... they are busy making fun of the newbies.

Knowing my teenage children and their friends, I'm well aware that many teenagers can easily outclass the adults around them. Often maturity and class have little to do with age. That is why I'm not assuming anyone here is underage... but I did mention class....

It is with comments like these you prove to everyone that no matter what age you both are, somewhere along the line someone forgot to teach you class and social skills. Fortunately for any others from that chat site, I and I think most people in SL will choose not to lump them in with you.
