To answer your question, I'd get pretty pissy if someone tagged my car, as an ex tag artist myself I knew where the boundaries were. Tagging an overpass, fine whatever, publicly owned property, it hurts no individuals beyond the tax burden required to say whitewash a wall, which honestly is a drop in the bucket compared to the misappropriation of funds et al that just about every local city council gets into regularly.

The city where I am in made it easy for us, they set us up a place to do our tags, but then for us it wasn't about vandalism, it was about art.

Throwing tags on personal property on the other hand was a definite no no with the group I ran with, thats just blatant disregard for other individuals.

I don't agree with much of what Grits says, but ya gotta admit he's eloquent. I have this horrible feeling he's gonna be President in 30 years' time...

Well it depends on what you call a video game. Bartle completed MUD1 in 80. Megawars launched on Compuserve in 83, and Islands of Kesmai launched on Genie in 84. So.. technically.. they kind of have been around for 25 years.

At any rate, you are incorrect. Online video games have been "out" for 28 years. The first known online video game was a MUD (Multi User Dungeon), where people would interact live, created in 1978 at Essex University.
Granted, it wasn't graphics, it was all text, but by definition, it was a game, it was online on a network, and it used a video monitor.
