I started to get constant "server upload" errors while scripting, uploading files, and even while logging in with 1.27.0. I was hoping it was going to clear up with this 1.27.1 update but the error rate is just as bad. Really frustrating! If you're still seeing those, which region or host are you on? |

Haha, I knew there was a 1.27.1 coming, and a 1.27.2 soon to come. I did notice (Or atleast it was a client side glitch) that the 'Double Upload Fee' bug returned in 1.27, and for some reason I'll get completely null HTTP responses in some scripts. (That or its a bug in my own script and I have yet to find the cause.) Reporting Double Upload Fee boggle here too. _____________________

I see them on Hong Kong Island where I do all my building and scripting. These issues should be resolved as of about 20 minutes ago, per the last comment on this jira: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4457 Please post a comment in that jira if you see it again. |

Double upload fee
07-30-2009 21:59
Dante, not sure how u guys missed the return of the double upload fee. I've just retested this in Beta on 1.23.4 viewer - You are at 261810.0, 255559.8, 9.4 in Bering located at sim3001.aditi.lindenlab.com (216.82.49.227:12035)
Second Life Beta Server 1.27.1.128449 - and I still get the same double blue notice. I use this sim a lot for testing purposes and I've seen this ever since u started testing 1.27.1 in Beta. Have just retested with an image - You are at 254274.0, 260181.9, 21.6 in Lebeda located at sim5827.agni.lindenlab.com (216.82.51.129:13000) Second Life Server 1.27.1.128449 - on 1.23.4 and yes, double upload fee notification on Main Grid, too. The good thing is at least only 10L is taken from account! |

Scripted Menus Clicks Triggering Twice
07-30-2009 22:34
I'm seeing repeatable cases of scripted menus registering a single click twice.
It only seems to happen about once in every dozen or two dozen clicks. Is anyone else noticing this and has this been reported on the Jira yet? (It may be more common if the region is running a lot of scripts but hard to say at this point.) |

log in problems
07-31-2009 01:41
Are there any login problems for the moment????? I tryen to login for 30 min, but i can't???
UPDATE #6 @ 2009-07-30: Today's work is complete. 1.27.1 is on the whole grid. UPDATE #5 @ 2009-07-30: Today's work is beginning. We'll be rolling the odd-numbered sims. UPDATE #4 @ 2009-07-29: Today's work has been completed. UPDATE #3 @ 2009-07-29: Today's work is beginning. We'll be rolling the even-numbered sims. UPDATE #2 @ 2009-07-27: Due to some issues that came up today, we've decided to change the deployment plan. We will no longer be doing the pilot roll, but we will be proceeding with the full roll on Wednesday and Thursday. We made the decision to not delay the entire deployment because this is a point release, and there's less risk in deploying a point release without a pilot roll. UPDATE: A couple of the times had AM instead of PM. Corrected below. We will be deploying server version 1.27.1 to Second Life during the week of July 27th. The rolling restart is scheduled to look like the following: * [updated to remove pilot roll] * Wed. 07/29, 7am-12pm : half of Second Life will be restarted * Thu. 07/30, 7am-12pm : the remainder of Second Life will be restarted As with all of our server deploys, each region will be restarted once during one of the rolling restart periods. Most regions should be down no more than 5-10 minutes, although some fraction of the regions will take 20-30 minutes to upgrade. If your region stays down for more than 30 minutes, please contact support. Each region will receive warnings starting 5 minutes before that region is restarted. |

Are there any login problems for the moment????? I tryen to login for 30 min, but i can't??? There was a routing snafu somewhere in the bowels of Level 3, it seems to have cleared up just a short while ago. |

Gotta love the total throttle after failed TP attempt
07-31-2009 06:18
I find that if I have a failed TP attempt it's one minute before the server will let me try to TP to the same location. It's like the server is saying, "Oh hai! You REALLY didn't want to go there, now did you?" It WILL let me TP to a different location though, and then I can immediately TP where I wanted to go in the first place.

so what are the EXACT limits on teleporting with the 1.27.1 server? What a strange way to phrase that. You write bots? Or do you just TP a LOT and carry a stopwatch? _____________________

Still getting server upload errors - still can't rez upper body clothes on alternate
07-31-2009 08:23
Per earlier comment/reply from Dante, still getting alot of "server can't upload file" notices - our base region is Mainland-Huron, but also got them on Tesla. Other persisting problems include inability to stay on, rezzing, and with my one alternate avatar upper body clothes do not appear to others in spite of being "worn" in inventory and seen by me. Was told in live chat support that this reload would fix the problems, but it hasn't.

What's up? /me adds your region name to the JIRA about the texture upload problem. That's really where LL will be looking for more info. Others who are STILL having this problem (ie: NOT those who had it before but are not not) should: - go here: https://jira.secondlife.com/browse/SVC-4457 - click Login on the top-right, if it's there, and login with your SL creds (it's safe) - click Comment over on the left and enter your region name on the comment area _____________________

Unfortunately I just got a new computer at the same time as this server change rolled out. ...Well okay, NOT unfortunately, it's freaking awesome.. but I can't tell if it's my computer, or the Servers having the problrm.
I can't change clothing without relogging.. is that some kind of server issue, or my own problem? _____________________

Dex region suffers a number of issues as well with the new server deploy:
- we get an obscure "LindenDollar_BadClockSkew" error upon trying to pay a contest jar. No payment succeeds. - region crossings of vehicles into the sim fail altogether - object rezz fails |

Search - Places Fixed... Thank you
07-31-2009 17:53
To Dante and all other Lindens involved,
I just checked the Search - Places and see that all of the sub-cataories are functional again. I want to thank you for repairing this. I was looking at a dismal sales weekend and it now looks bright. Major McCaw |

As reported by a few others on this forum, I too am having a problem with the Search - Places not showing any results for any of the sub-catagories... This should be fixed now. |

A single failed teleport triggering the throttle is a bug, and I opened an internal jira for it today. We'll start testing work-arounds on Monday. |
