Weird, will check the links when I get home. The work from my work PC. Not sure why the links aren't working. It is url (replacing <> wiht brackets), right?

My estate in Caledon Highlands. This replaced the original (and much smaller) Victoria that I got from West Trade Imports. With decorations, it pretty much uses up every available prim on my 4096. :)

Not pictured, two upstairs bedrooms, bathroom and sitting room at the top of the stairs.

you need to include either the full path to the picture (like I did) or a ? at the end to link pages using IMG tags (as I did for the last since it only allows you 4 images per post)

My home situation is a little weird right now. I live in our family home but, well, my family has had some hard times over the last year. Anyway, this is the room I share with my sister

sorry to hear that your SL family is having hard time.

I am curious though... on a role play level, what happens to kids from broken SL homes?

do they just grow up and move on as an adult in SL (and wouldn't that be just as weird to them, as it would be for an adult to become a kid in SL)

or do you continue on as a kid, but more as a play alone kind of kid?

Do you plan to always be a kid Mari? or does your avatar age?

Okay, here we go... This is totally all on my little 512 parcel. =^-^=

...

For low prim, I has torus-bag chairs and a 5 prim sofa... Then I waste the rest of the prims on my lolipr0nz collection! Xd

I'm very impressed with what you've done with 512 sq/m. You even have prims left over and everything!

I got nowhere with search: does anybody know of any threads about other 512 sq/m builds?

One of the ones I posted earlier on this thread is in a 512. Here it is, again. :-)

when you play your av as a child you don't even have a family. you are an orphan. so, how do YOU handle it?

it varies from kid to kid. Many find other families. Some opt to not have a family. Some do grow up. Me and my siblings still have our parents -- although, to be honest, we've not had any family role play of note with them in over a year, really. I still see them when they're on (rarely), but that's about that. Us three kinda take care of each other, an we have a few aunties too.

I do age: when I grew down in SL, I was 3 1/2. I'm now 6 1/2. :-)

I do not play my avatar as a child.

so I do not have to handle it
also playing as a kid is roleplaying, so I was curious as to how they roleplayed it

my god why do you always need to put a snide remark?

CX and I live in a skybox, one I built myself. The land below is maintained like a park with a pool and party platform. Here's our Skybox....

Ok, I'll get in on some of this action :p

Here's a couple shots showing what's left of the neko hangout cave after I raided prims for a huge project...

And here's a shot showing half of my misty zen garden...

These next 4 shots I turned up the old SLI rig and let her snap.

This is the view from the lower front deck of my chalet...

This is the view of the lower inside of the house...

This is the view from my bathtub on the upper floor...

And this is the view of my house and the surrounding area. All of Mimas, all of Pandora, and a little beyond are shown...

Not too bad for being mainland, I'd say ;)

I also have a 1024m skybox, but too lazy to fly up and take a photo atm.

Okay, here we go... This is totally all on my little 512 parcel. =^-^=

First.. I has my cookie jar! XD

Then I has my private pond for skinneh dipz! =^-^=

Then I has my basement room above the pond with mah TV! XD

For low prim, I has torus-bag chairs and a 5 prim sofa... Then I waste the rest of the prims on my lolipr0nz collection! Xd
So cool! Being on 512m myself and knowing how hard it is to make things comfortable with 117 prims I find your place absolutely amazing! I just have a little prefab Simple Arch house with a fireplace and a couple of chairs! Never took pictures of it, I'll try to remember. Jackie

Mari, I think it's sweet that you kids stick together and look after each other. After all, the children are our future..........
