Back yard. There's a hot tub (by Trinket, check it out for very detailed, ornate spas and gazebos as well as a line of more sensible furniture), mini-lagoon, and a dance floor. Glamour shot from the corner of the sim, up through the lagoon. --- Full disclosure time: I really don't use the house these days, I spend most of my time in an unfinished project that turned into my workshop. I thought it would be cute to see if I could do a modestly sized castle-style home in 100-125 prims. This is where it's at. And yours truly in his messy workshop, thinking he'd better get to work after spending all this time posting pics on the forum.

More great pictures! Bodhi - Why yes, that is a wood fired oven, though not enough interesting food is cooking in there yet. There is a very similiar version in the cottage in the forest on my sim if you want to have a look. I love what you've done with your land. Your garden home looks very serene and inspiring. Kelli - sounds awesome. I can;t wait to see the pics. Anti - That house is beautiful and very well furnished. For a place you don;t spend much time you've done a great job making it feel very homey. I like you castle too. Monalisa - I love that. Very bright and sunny. Did you have something to do with the Sweet Mermaids sim? Regarding all the sky platform workshops...yeah, I spend a lot of my time on one of those too.

From: Weston Graves You have outstanding taste, sir, and a great designer's eye. Thank you! I should say though, the focal pieces in that shot (the stained glass doors) were done by a friend of mine specifically for that area, so I can't take much credit for the resulting look.

Wow, some of you have really beautiful homes. I live at the hangout, down by the dock. A few people have kindly offered a place to change and rez a pose stand, so life is good!

Our Ballroom: Our Bedroom: I never finished the gallery room and the dungeon is rather sparse.

@weston: I spy with my lil eye, a piece definitely by Michael Whelan =)
@Blot: I spy with my lil eye, some decidedly low prim items despite the grandeur (like the one prim lamps, which I used to make in a 2 prim variety adding a cap)... sorry about the lazy neighbors.
@ everyone... you people have such gorgeous homes... the best I could do is dig up some old pics of the refrigerator box in the gibson subway station I used to occupy (yes I really did, too bad they rebuilt and it's been gone for a long time... but that's what happens when you don't have a home of your own)

Nimue! Thanks for starting this thread and thanks to everyone for sharing your pics. Fantastic! Kind of like Architectural Digest for SL!

I've only been working on this home for a few weeks in my spare time, but it's my most relaxing so far. I'm still working on the stream, I'm not completely satisfied with it (too many seams) and I still need to add a few more touches. Front of my home, made entirely out of sculpted rocks Back of my little home (includes moving water wheel) Water wheel turns the gears that pump water from the stream outside to the boiler which is heated with a magic gem. My ancient vase working shower, with hot and cold running water. And magic "window rocks"

{continued} My fox shrine and lamp My waterfall that feeds the stream running through my land View along the stream Further along the stream a rainbow appears Little whirlpool where the stream ends

My home situation is a little weird right now. I live in our family home but, well, my family has had some hard times over the last year. Anyway, this is the room I share with my sister: And here's a piccie of the outside, which also shows a bit of the play yard. An when me an my sis an brother dun feel like being at home cuz of missin folks, we have another home we'll go to, in Shermerville. I built an textured it myself!

I have a simple place by the roadside. Sure, it needs some work but it's cosy I have electricity and a TV for quite evenings alone. And a soft bed to rest. I have just built a new place higher on the hill. Maybe I'll move there once I've made some furniture. It's a bit ostentatious though, more than I really need.

Wow everyone has such fabulous homes! I normally have a place on the ground and a place in the sky - prims permitting. I live in a lovely place by the water....I didn't build the house. I love the fire And the views - I spend a lot of time on the window seat I made.
