*But I do agree, no group should be above any rules on this forum, if any still exist. But if a rule is bent, we don't need 50 people pointing it out in public, and it can be done more civilly that it often is.

That being said, I personally have no problem with any member of the Forum community doing a little self promotion. People work hard on their creations, and all of the people who post here regularly, from Strauss to Chaos to even poopmaster, are part of the community. Whatever little subgroups emerge is unimporatnt. We all make up the RA community, and we should share whatever we are proud of, and what we enjoy, and also detest about SL.

I don't read the Content Creation Forums, or the Tech Forums for the most part, a lot of things would never have been seen if they weren't posted here. There is a difference, at least to me of a regular poster making an announcement here, as opposed to someone who has never posted making one , and not contributing to the community any further.
So what's worse? Not picking on him but, a thread by the famous Felonhall that may be out of place, we pay it little mind, it falls off the page rather briefly, or the flame war it spawns, in that thread and the 10 that follow? Or are so many out there literally plugged into their damn computers that they think like them, and can only follow a narrow path of thinking. Black vs White?

I enjoy this Forum. I've never frquented one before. I laugh more than anything when I read it, but I learn things too. In the year I've been in SL I've learned a lot about SL, some content creation, and computers in general. Not in the Content or Tech forums. Right here.
