Serious answer (or as serious as underware can get ) I have too many layer conflicts as it is. Tucked in shirts on the underware layer, tattoos and cleavage ehancement on the undreshirt layer, and then I like to wear open toed shoes so no socks. However there are time when I can I like to dress with nice underclothes and stockings under my gowns. No one can see them but *I* know they are there.

From: Riseon Kosten But what if she, *shudders*, puts on a prim...you know. Then it's worse for the servers!
Don't do it Scylla!! Nah, no fears. The idea of sticking a prim (and potentially loquacious) attachment to my groinal area doesn't appeal (and actually even sounds mildly uncomfortable). On the EXCEPTIONALLY rare occasions (nowadays) when I feel the need, I have an underwear layer that does the trick. So, yeah, THEN I don't wear panties. From: Rhonda Huntress No one can see them but *I* know they are there. Actually, strangely enough (at least, it seems strange to me), that is true. Of me also. Go figure . . .

Did someone mention linebacker's thighs earlier? Pep (takes two Finasteride, just in case.)

I think it is the mind set and the same ritual we are used to from real life. Pick out the dress, find the right makeup and just the right shoes. Those ancient cotton granny panties with the holes in them may be comfortable but they spoil the mood! We have to start with something pretty.

Yeah, and also an index of the weird way that we tend to identify with our avs, I think. In RL, if you are wearing really nice undies, you know it because you can feel them on -- at least, when you are thinking about it. "Knowing" that you are wearing "pretty" serves the same function in SL, I guess.

You sure it has nothing to do with fears of taking off that sexy dress for some hunk or vixen and being horrified that you put on your comfy panties that night... ^_^

From: Joshooah Lovenkraft What are your thoughts on wearing socks and undies in SL and under what circumstances? I wear socks unless I go barefoot. My undies are part of my skin layer.

Dunno, as I've never really been in the market for one. I've never liked them anyway: I'd far rather have direct control over my nether regions, tyvm, through emoting. As for skins with the hoo haw baked on . . . I don't know that I've ever seen one that I really like anyway. (You can read the "one" in that sentence any way you like .)

That is another thing that makes me LOL in RL. Loquacious and chatty hoo haws. What on earth do they say? I can imagine, being 'in the moment' and have your stuff speak up with something that you may not be feeling at all........Does it clear it's 'throat' and say 'scuse me' before it interrupts? Does it talk while you are talking? Interrupt? Does the person have control over it speaking or does it speak randomly? The idea just makes me fall out of my chair laughing.

Well, I am speaking from a position of woeful ignorance here, never having employed one of the little devils, but . . . if it's at all like some of the male attachments I've seen . . . I think you (or your lover) can "touch" it to make it, er, "do" things? But you can probably also set permissions, so that you decide who has access? (Which is, in my mind, a VERY important thing!) /me looks around enquiringly at others likely to be more experienced in such things . . .

I can see myself saying 'STFU', and ruining the moment.

My friend told me about her new cha cha that her bf bought her and when she reached 100% particle butterflies would fly out lol. I'm not sure if this is something that normally should happen or whether she required a dose of virtual cephalosporins

So, who decides the 'percentage' one is at? Are the percentages in increments? (like 25% then 50% etc) or are there also like 22% and 17% and maybe 9%? I really feel one should be in total control of one's butterflies...........nobody should be deciding when I am at 100%, don't you agree?

"Butterflies" don't really describe it very adequately for me, I'm afraid . . .
