Well....I'll bite here.

After buying this and that individual animations and a few animated pieces of furniture...I finally just settled with a wearable HUD from Neva Naughty..... that way location didn't matter...and I didn't need worry about which furniture had what animation.

Now...cut to a few months later and I've pretty much given up the whole sex exploration part of SL....so I'm selling all my 'sex' related stuff. I still have quite a bit left, including the wearable HUD which I paid way too much for LOL Anyone interested...give me a buzz..... *wink* I've seen plenty of Kama Sutra stuff out there.....and I'm guessing the quality will only continue to get better.....tho I doubt prices will go down much for that kind of stuff. *shrugs*

That is what I was saying. I'm normally more for written erotica. That's why I do not have much experience with those things you do not use as a rule. And I think I mentioned somewhere that this probably goes against the persona I've put on in SL Forums.

Regarding the written vs. visual erotica. I tend to use both, the visual (poseballs) set the stage, the written goes from there. Once it really gets started it doesn't really matter what is on the pose ball. But some times they are nice to watch.

No, that was me taking Trout's comment right after your post out of context and moving it up. And:
"I should have known a big impassioned comment would get buried tho." seemed to imply to my ill mind that I didn't see your earlier comment, and therefor was randomly spouting %'s for some reason. Sorry, I have no idea why that really set me off. That and the need to shout "WRITTEN" and whatever the other thing is that you shouted.

By the way, was it just the last paragraph or the whole thing? Because I still stand behind the first paragraph of my orginial comment.

I'm a tinkerer and a seeker of seamless-yet-spontaneous animated experiences, so when I took an interest in these things I ran right out and picked up a free copy of Miffy Fluffy's MLP (now replaced by Xpose) and began searching for the best animations I could find, and ways to combine them into something with some appearance of taste. You can do some really nice things if you're willing to take the time to build your own personal animation device piece-by-piece like this, but it's not a quick or easy task. What you gain is something as personal to you as possible, since it contains only your favorite animations from whatever creators you choose, and the aforementioned naming issue becomes moot since you can make the buttons on the menus say whatever you want. And you can build it into any piece of furniture you like (or just lay it on top of something), or wear it as a HUD if you prefer.

My favorite animation shops include Bits and Bobs of course, and Risque for the more, umm, rambunctious animations. Also some of Abranimations are good. Pick and choose is the name of the game though, for all of the above.

I make couples' animations myself now, leaning hard in the direction of slow and understated so far. Sadly I haven't had time to make more than about a half-dozen sets to date (cuddles and more intimate sets) but feel free to visit my shop in my profile and take a look. I'm hoping to pick up trhe pace now that my busy RL summer is coming to a close.
