I've got nobody special, and I'm unlikely to, either...although I do have a number of very dear, and intimate, friends. As it says in my Profile, I'm in a committed long term RL relationship, and not looking for anything in SL that would jeopardize that. But my home is in need of, er, "furnishing" in order to accommodate any guest(s) that might drop in. It just seems the neighborly thing to do, in SL anyway. As for the HUD option...well, one must be prepared for all eventualities, mustn't one? Besides, there's always the chance that I might get my RL partner interested in Second Life. Now, THAT would be worth a pocketful of poseballs, wouldn't it?  Sigh - you had a golden opportunity to come up with a really great explanation here.

Aww, to get all serious and stuff for a moment, in dawn of man times our ancestors pretty much travelled about in small groups of hunter-gatherers mostly related by blood (except for exchanging brides with other groups to avoid inbreeding). Rape would have been a very good way to get yourself killed, unless it was of someone in a group you were on the outs with already. Rape is a fun fantasy for some, but not so hot in reality, which is why ravishment is quite popular. (Rape is where you force the woman to have sex when she doesn't want to. Ravishment is where you force the woman to have sex when she does want to. VERY different.) |

You know, there's danger that this could run the thread off course (and NOT because of Trout, for once), but the Gor thing does have some great fantasy RP elements. Even in RL, practicing Gor is akin to doing the 24/7 D/s thing to me.
