Well. I've been shopping, off and on, and I've managed to get myself all confused again.

What I'm shopping for is, um, sex animations. I'm kind of interested in the Kamasutra line, because they have a wide variety of products, and allow for mix 'n match, but they (like other top brands) are pretty expensive, and I'd like to make a good choice.

I seem to see two basic choices: furniture, or a HUD.

So, I have two questions...

1. Do you prefer a menu driven bed/couch/shower stall/whatever, or a wearable device? And why?

2. Who makes the best product? There's such a wide range of prices out there, and so many makers use somebody else's animations in their products...

anims, Craig Altman (Bits and Bobs), still the best

but interested in hearing about newer designers ...

So, how readily available are animations and bondage'y add-ins for the Deviant bed? It seems like a well regarded system, but the choices aren't necessarily all to my taste.

The platinum or whatever sex gen bed looks like the be-all and end-all, but the price is just nuts.

To the OP, I would go for furniture, given my desire to have fixed attachment points...

Risque has some really nice poseballs. Bits and Bobs is good. When I first started, I used the menu driven stuff, but now I prefer the animated poseballs.

All to often the menu beds don't work for me. The animations won't work right or the are wall off line and unable to be modded.

Lockmeister/Amethyst developers kit is what I'd say to that. Plus ... so far, anyway - unmade things by people far more talented than I am ...

Unmade so far, that is ... muhahhahaa

It is very easy to add anims, any ones that you want, to the Deviant bed, and change the menu structure as well.

Last time i looked, many months ago, the sexgen beds had a very awkward "update package" method to add other anims.

The deviant and sexgen engines can be purchased separately and added to any piece of furniture, thus the fountains and hot tubs you see around.

If, instead of actual anims, you are interested in just some nice cuddles scattered around your property, Pillow Talk has some very nice things. This works well for people who prefer to scatter their own pose balls about as needed, or indeed who use simply IM.

I would go with furniture instead of a HUD. My HUDs sometimes get flaky during TPing and will add to some client lag on your end.



Risque, in my opinion, are some of the best animation pose balls out there. Although Bits and Bobs makes some great ones also.
I even have some xcite pose balls that are very good (does xcite still make pose balls?)

A couple of beds that I have are Sexgen and New Level...both are very nice and I haven't decide which one I like better ( I guess I should keep experimenting with them)

I also like my Deviant furniture. I have stayed away from the Deviant bed because it seems to be lacking as far as loaded animations, but they are fairly new and should get better.

There is a great lesbian bed made by Lover's Playground -- big, circular, enclosed canopy ned with tons of anims and all lesbian. Worth a look. Not bondage oriented though. I tend to do my "playing" on the Deviant furniture and then adjourn to the Lovers' Playground bed afterward ....

I'd say pose balls.

Also, no disrespect to the users or creators, but I haven't been able to find many animations, aside from Bits and Bobs, where the sex animation itself doesn't resemble a live action porn flick at twice the speed. Honestly, some of those are neck and other body part breaking speeds.

Lindal, or anyone really, have any advice on erotic, sensual and slower animations but are still all that?

Perhaps Lionsblood in Nordica might be worth a gander.
