I feel that if I pal it up with someone while they're being an ass, then I look like an ass, too, and I hold other people to the same standard. Maybe that's why it looks harsh across the street. The general chat that is its strength looks pretty insensitive when the asses are tolerated so well. This place might also look harsh if general chat were a bigger part of this forum.
