I try to avoid using the bathroom while my RL agent is logged in, but I did catch an intruder sitting on the toilet once. I didn't know what to say!!! |

What is the point of a kitchen?? Now a Gorean kitchen or servery as is at least pretty with a nice fire to look at. Baths can be nice though.

You can if they're physical prims... I hope this isn't a stupid question, but it's a legitimate one. How do you make a physical prim as opposed to a normal one? _____________________

I hope this isn't a stupid question, but it's a legitimate one. How do you make a physical prim as opposed to a normal one? Just check the "physical" box under "object" when you create something...doesn't work for flexi and sculpties, tho... _____________________

Kitchen: Check
Bathroom: Check (including a toilet with a sit pose ![]() House with all furnishings, including said unnecessary rooms: 800-ish prims. Lot allows 1170 (5120 sqm). If I were on a 1024 plot and had two-hundred some prims, yeah, the kitchen and potty would go in a flash. Do we (my RL partner is also my SL partner) use either? Rarely, though my wife likes to decorate up the place and throw stuff on the kitchen counter like b'day cakes, jack-o-lanterns and such for various events and holidays. |

Just found a dish towel today that lays by the sink, that animates you to do the dishes! Pretty funny. May stick with the kitchen, even though I hate doing dishes.

What is the point of a kitchen?? Now a Gorean kitchen or servery as is at least pretty with a nice fire to look at. Baths can be nice though. It looks nice Only my fridge "does" something, i.e. gives out food and drink. The rest is in dark wood tones which compliment the rest of the house, and as I am very kitchen orientated rl (it's MY KITCHEN and woe betide anyone who interrupts me in mid creative flow, lol) I couldn't have a place without one.Same with bathroom - RL I dream of having a beautiful spa bathroom (not a chance!) and when I stay in hotels I do often pick on the basis of how luxurious a bathroom is available to me. My kitchen is innocent, my bathroom is far from being clean ![]() **edit*** Elora, where? I can think of someone who'd look just great in lingerie doing my virtual dishes!!! |

I am so going to suggest some of SuezanneC's ideas to a house builder friend.... and that fridge? that's my next project now. ( has learned far too much about people's real life abuses of household fixtures from this thread... and yet my rl home has a dungeon of sorts =X ) the only toilets I've seen were about 100ft tall and used to annoy neighbors. as for interesting poses.... don't leave out kitchen/bath countertops, tables, and washing machines... I personally hate the kitchen, RL and SL (but it's a nice touch)... oddly I'm a pretty good cook /me checks you are not a neighbour of mine ... rl I have a 'playroom' usually ... current home does not permit it sadly. I had one place with a room painted deep blue, even the ceiling, with black paintwork. It was a room which never looked good in any colour anyway as it got such bad light quality - but painting it like that, with candles by the score and all my toys on the wall ... was fantastic. (nostalgic sigh) |

Who uses them? I thought the same thing. I even built a kitchen/bath in my new house. It's neat to walk by and click the fridge door open and get a drink, or turn the sink on and plug the drain.. or even turning the stove on just because I can. My fav, leaving the toilet seat up! =D Honestly, I never had the prims to build one prior to my new home. I still have 350+/- prims to use up after building the damn kitchen & bath. I'm sure i'll have no problem finding a use for them ![]() |

Our home has both a kitchen an bathroom, though neither get used very often. I kinda wish they were. Mari Aw, come on Mari. I bet your mommy makes you take a bath every evening before milk, cookies, prayers and bedtime. |

I have no kitchen since I eat my prey alive
But I have a small bathtub, a vanity spot with a mirror (which doesn't work) and even a functioning toilet, umm, I mean litterbox, with animation and sound (which is for sale, and some DO buy it LOL). |

Who uses them? Those who like role playing using them. I often need table to work on prims. Kitchen table could be handy area to make tiny prims or play games with friends. _____________________

I**edit*** Elora, where? I can think of someone who'd look just great in lingerie doing my virtual dishes!!! See Cherry WE think alike! That was my thought exactly! Me, standing there, barely dressed...lol. Or someone else, works either way. /me loves roleplay hehe. For the record, I think that "someone" might look good too! But that "someone" might find it broadly offensive *grin* It was at "Pillow Talk". But, where I actually found it was on the ground floor of the store, which has a model home. In the house, in the kitchen, on the sink is the towel. It was VERY expensive for what it was, I think $200L, but considering it is really an animation, I guess worth it. BTW, the model home sux (I think it looks very cheesy but to each their own). Although, it does have a bathroom in it, with working toilet, sink and tub. The sink also had a towel on it, which had a hand washing animation (or could have been the same one as the dish one? I didn't really pay that close attention). Also - get your wallet out. This store is going to do serious damage to it. I just found out about it the other day and I can not believe how wonderful it is. BTW - I should be inworld quite a bit, I hope, today. I'll look for you later on, so I can come by and see your "diner". _____________________

Sounds like Hoffman Designs. But the fridges with doors that open are filled with "stuff" on a texture. I've never seen one with things you can remove or add. I have a fridge like that from Depoz. Made by Mash Mandala. There are also stove with burners that glow, and lots of different cabinetry to design and build your own kitchen |
