Meh; I think Blaze is starting to look dated. They haven't kept up with the general improvement in texture quality, the addition of sculpted collars and cuffs; etc. Even for texture-only stuff without prim attachments I find the overall quality of the stuff is better elsewhere. I used to wear Blaze for my basic dress-shirt and tie (again, talking about my cross-dressing alter-ego Carter here, men's clothes) until I discovered that the ones at SLAB were much nicer.

Lately I've been fond of the blazers from Armidi and the really stylin' formal suit from Redgrave.

It's "Simply Britnee."

Thanks! That will probably help the guy actually find it. :-)

I've been dithering over that Redgrave suit, purely because of the lack of prim detail, and 1200L is a lot to drop on clothing that I'm dithering over, especially when I'm not a frequent suit-wearer. The ad looks fantastic, but I do like to see prim cuffs and/or collars, and a prim tie never goes amiss either.

I might head over there and take another look, see if I can persuade myself this time ;)

I think all that holier-than-thou trolling earlier on was the very silly action of a very silly person.

Yep I think he was being funny, unfortunately he was the only one who thought so.

Try the following places for clothes: Muism, Armidi, Renegade, Naughty Island, SiniStyle, TonkTastic.

For hair try Armidi, Damselfly and UW

Skins Bellaza

If you contact me in world I think I have landmarks for all of them.

Depending on your needs for clothes (Muism is insanely expensive for what you get), you can also try Husky Gfx, Avid, RFyre (a bit on the flamboyant side, but vampires like the look), SF Design.

As far as hair, I only have a couple sets of hair and stick with those. Two Sirena hairs (you have to turn off the damned facelight all their hair comes with), and a freebie dirty biker hair I found at Husky Gfx.

My skins are from Redgrave, but they aren't to everyone's taste.

Most of the time I just buy stuff off xstreet.

Jackie, I will drop some landmarks on you today. Off the top of my head Blaze and Junglewear should fit your needs, not sure of the spellings of the others.

For the ripped jeans look, Jackie can also try GothiCatz, and Little Britain.

Both have some decent attire.

Heck, hit me up inworld for some teeshirts. I make my own most of the time, and don't mind giving them out.

There are some good places off the beaten path as well. Look for biker places or old west themed places for leathers, jeans and boots.

LL Beans? Do men shop there? I thought it was just for dykes. : :p

The Forums (fora) are so great! You can get information and entertainment all in the same web page!

I have seen this come up a few times. “Fora” is technically a plural of forum, but more in the sense of the roman political and business centers. It is archaic, but correct. Is this becoming the standard plural for internet forums now? I find it amusing that an antiquated term is being applied to a modern technology; another oddity of a living language.

Yes, the cotton pinpoint oxford button down collar dress shirts were my standards in Corporate America for years. Their waist length, lined jackets (not the Maine type, just the regular ones) last for decades. There *is* a special catalog for men that we keep secret. You have to sign a non-disclosure form to get on the mailing list, as I recall.

I've always used "fora", even though I'm an American. I think most use forums, but it just sounds wrong to me :-)

Has anyone else noticed the lack of really good accessories for male av's compared to female?
Yes yes yes yes yes...

Just like real life, really.
