I was the subject of the comment and I don't have a problem with it. You might want to go back and read my response to it. 8 posts and threatening to AR a long term Forum contributer? hehehe

You were not the subject of the comment. Perhaps you should go back and read the comment again. I wasn't threatening, I ARd it, and just because someone is a longterm contributor doesn't make them immune to action for inappropriate posting. Look what happened to Jumpy.

Has anyone else noticed the lack of really good accessories for male av's compared to female? I never had any problem finding attractive clothes, skins, hair, shoes etc. for my female form, but now I'm have a huge problem finding clothes that look realistic. Several people pointed me to spots for hair but I ended up just going to xstreetsl and found a no-name piece. There seems to be a definite lack of selection for male avs. Is there al LL Bean Mens Store somewhere? Am I looking in the wrong places, or is this a case of inequality of the sexes? Thanks. Jackie

Jackie, hon...now you feel my pain. :)

You just wait until you try to find stuff for male avs in a treasure hunt!

Hit me up in-world, and I can point you to the few places I've shopped. :)

Jackie, in addition to the places mentioned here my cross-dressing alter ego (Carter; I think you might have met her in world) has lots of excellent men's clothes from Casa de Shai, Valiant, SLAB, and the men's section at PixelDolls. Those four, plus a couple pieces from Armidi and Muism, account for the majority of the clothes that she actually wears.

I can't really help you with suggestions about male skins or hair; Carter wears a female skin and has not changed her hair (which is from Truth) in 7 months. :D

How can you be a troll when you are obeying LLs instructions on the use of the forums? Everyone else that has commented on my entirely justified posts are the trolls who are derailing the thread.

You don't suppose a certain well known person has another alt, do you? Hmmm, just too many big words strung together to be a coincidence, IMO.

Now let's get back to clothing :-)

All the good Men's jeans are low-riders. So shirts have to either be jacket layer, or come with a matching underwear layer.

Sometimes its just easier to throw on a tat, and call it a day. :D

Definitely not. He's on holiday right now. I'm sure the forums are the furthest thing from his mind. :)

Get thee to PixelDolls! The jeans in the men's section there are high-waisted and fabulous. My absolute favorite jeans.

1. Intolerance
Combating intolerance is a cornerstone of Second Life's Community Standards. Actions that marginalize, belittle, or defame individuals or groups inhibit the satisfying exchange of ideas and diminish the Second Life community as whole. The use of derogatory or demeaning language or images in reference to another Resident's race, ethnicity, gender, religion, or sexual orientation is never allowed in Second Life.

Moderators will decide whether the post is intolerant. Your opinions are not relevant to the topic. Desist or be ARd yourself.

OH MY!! HAHA- L:ook SL police is now patrolling the Forums! Yay- be of good cheer, oh Denizens of the Forums! We are Saved!!

My efforts to return this forum to PG status seems to be working if your recent "flipping" postings are anything to go by!

PS: The reason the Lindens can't deal with real grievances in SL is that certain people will AR you if you even so much as walk by them. Please stop filling the system with absolute junk, Mr. Cato....

Thanks. I have my *I* tshirt already. Khaki slacks, loafers, collar type polo shirts, blue jeans, sweatshirts, boat shoes, khaki shorts...help! :-)

Try Blaze. They don't have a lot of men's wear, but they do have some in the classic style. Nyte'n'Day also has some nice slacks and shirts. And Shiny Things has some men's shoes.

Hehe, you sound cool with it all. Just keep away from those suits that look like a skin!

With the all the jeans I saw was they stuck to tight on my av, there was no looseness. I think I should have searched for prim made clothes now I know more.

I've gone shopping with a couple male friends, and seen the same low provisions in male clothing/accessories. Just like most rl malls, most stores are geared to women. Blaze has some nice men's clothes, both casual and dressy. When you land and walk inside, men's are on the right. Few women's things even on the men's side, lol. I've bought 4 business suits there lately, 'tux style' . The best jeans I"ve ever seen on a guy, strangely enough, I was with him when he got them, were from Freebie Beach. Very natural looking very good for freebies. He is terribly picky, my friend, but he found several items at Freebie Beach which I think is called 'Gamer's Freebie Beach', or 'Freebie Beach by Gamers' now, or something like that. Couldn't hurt to check it out.......

Now can I have my thread about male clothing back?

I bought some casual sweaters and jeans for xmas for Damien- he will have the name of it- I will ask if he does not come in on his own. Very realistic and fashionable.

Oh - and on the jeans issue - I have some from Young Urban that allow you to wear shirts on the shirt layer. Their freebie pack has two nice pairs.
