if only prims were not such an issue, then we could have all options available for sale on the wall..
however I think I came up with a solution for my situation since remodelling my store, I have sectioned off my items into groups, so that being said, I can put the alternate permissions in vendors by each group of items, therefor less to have to look through in a vendor to find the item they want in the other permission set, and it also opens up another set of options to the potential buyers, and saves on prims now to repackage all the stuff, with the mod/copy permissions and set them for sale in the vendors. guess I know what I will be doing this week LOL _____________________

i prefer copy to no copy items, because I like to make outfit folders so I can then copy te item into each outfit.
Transfer i only want if I am looking for a gift. I prefer items with mod options too. Saying that though, I wouldn't not buy an item just because the rights aren't right. i don't actively look for items with copy/mod/no trans rights and it wouldn't stop me buying it. Unless i am looking for a gift. Obviouly i am not going to buy a gift wit no trans rights lol. _____________________

the way I see it, if it helps pull in some sales, no harm in doing it, just gonna take me some time to reset the perms and repackage the items andset up the vendor, but all in all, it will be nice to have those options for ppl who prefer mod/copy as apposed to transfer only
(I do not put mod with transfer (except prim parts to clothes)) I got my dumb ass reasons for it LOL but sure I can add the vendors to each section with mod/copy options in it. eventually LOL PS some stuff though just doesn't need mod options for example a tattoo, or the new pierced back things I made, why would anyone need to mod them? (sure change color, however these are tinted so changing color would not be all that great (I tried) as well as changing the color would also change the color of the rings, and surrounding area of the rings) heh _____________________

Should of paid better attention. I believe you said you like to sell stuff which I then issued my last comment in response. |

When seeking landscaping and/or building items I prefer copy/mod over transfer, since I need more than 3 tiki torches and I have no intention of selling my land.
But admittedly those perms are harder to find for these types of items. The big name popular vendors are the most likely not to offer these perms, so I tend to search from the bottom of the search list. |

As can be seen people would rather have modifiable items then any of the other two options. The sooner shop owners begin to realize this the more business they'll make. Unfortunately, many are so paranoid they won't ever relent which in turn lessens their profits. It can be seen here where some have stated they refuse to buy non-mod items and this is just the tip of the iceberg. Lots more people out there who feel the same way.
I used to average $175 US every month without adding my lands tier. This just on clothes, jewelry and things for the land. Now, I barely spend $40 and even less as more and more non mod items are showing up and I refuse to buy any of it. There's no logical reason, none that makes any sense whatsoever as to why take the options away from the consumer. Especially an option that doesn't hurt the seller and helps out the buyer. |
