You may have some stiff competition though. These forum people seem to be good with the words thing.

/me anticipates a verrrry good competition.
The competition is er um... 'stiff' indeed! I have every intention on entering the contest and claiming you as my prize Claire!

No people as prizes, sorry. We'll let you-all work that out on your own :D

How about if the top three writers get to pick one of the lower placed contestants for a day or two of 'practical work' :D

Now that would make things interesting..

Hmm. Entering ... and inevitably losing ... this competition is beginning to seem more attractive.

I'm think that should secure me a spot in the losers bracket.

/me searches inventory.
/me finds a shovel
/me hits this thread about the head and neck until it stops moving.

/me wipes my hands and says "It was a dirty job, but this thing had to die."

Exotic vs Erotic : just how far do we plan to go?

Theme? Just how detailed or loose of a theme to use? At the dance / moonlit beach / lost on a rainy night in the neko forrest with Trout (or LittleMe)(or both)/ blue / anything goes?

Speaking of Trout and LittleMe, do we want to allow real names? (Real names *laughs*)

I would assume this would done in world to keep from trashing RA any worse than I already do :) Also, even with "PG13" standards, it can get pretty steamy.

Do we want to have anonamous notecards?
Judges or public voting or both?

===========
I probably should have put this in a new thread :\ Oh well.

I've written many stories in my time. My computer ate all the PG ones. Only ones that survived are the ones I put on my story blog, and that is not a PG blog.

I no longer write stories.

FLICKR

if you look in the control panel or user options as its called

there is a listing of your webspace address and a teeny line with the address with which to e-mail directly to flickr

It is possible to send a postcard from within SL

I've done the last one ok, but never the former

Thanks, Archie!

I tried both ways and they work just fine. I also entered my Flickr email in the control panel of Snapzilla thinking it would automatically forward images to Flickr but it doesn't seem to work that way.

I protest this gross attempt at cruel and unusual punishment -- not to include he URL of this "story blog" is well 'nigh unforgivable!

Most of the stories are incredibly violent. The stories, not the nonfiction posts. I feel too homicidal right now to search out the link and post it as I will likely glance at some of the stories.
