EVERY member of the Group represents the place. It isn't a business. Managers /Officers have abilities to control certain aspects of the property, but all members look out for the place's interests. You allegedly said something that a group member who happened to be an officer took offense to. SHE reacted acting in defending a fellow member as much as in any Management capacity, there really is nothing to Manage. we have over 200 people in the group and just about all of them would leap to each other's defense in a minute.

Again, speaking for me, the co owner of the group, you made an accusation, but won't prduce the evidence to back that up. i don't have particulars from either side. You said you made a cooment that was intended as humorous and you were verbally attacked for it. She said you made an offensive remark towards a fellow group member, and responded. She also said you stayed afterward and and socialized for a while. apparently not too put off by the incident. So who's the bad guy here? If this were a business I might say the customer is always right, even though that is often wong. I prefer innocent till proven guilty. I do know that if it's true she did wrong you she has the class to apologize.

I'm not - I've had the time of my life inworld this week. I believe a few of the Forum men will say the same.

For the record; It does not matter if you are a business or not. IRL I founded and ran a local computer club. We were far from a 'business' but guess what, we still had a structor and officers and some leadership. Profit, non-profit, hobby group, etc this is the way things are done to ensure a well run ship, checks and balances and accountability. Sounds to me this excuse above is your get out of jail free card to avoid any responsibility or accountably from anyone when this these issues arise. Cute.
