From: Gabriele Graves ..."Lindal, your call reached me as it always does. Come sit by the fire where it is warm."
You shiver with sudden delight and renewed apprehension as you make your way inexorably towards the armchair. OMG, Gabriele...you never disappoint. Now see? THAT'S vampire roleplay. /me takes a slow step toward the short, incredibly beautiful woman lounging in the chair. She knows she should scream, should run...but step by step, she is drawn ever closer, mesmerized by her deep, compelling eyes and faint, seductive smile...

From: Pserendipity Daniels Well, anyone in Murder Rehab is "fallen" and so many "authorities" here insist that an avatar's gender should be accepted at face value, making you a "woman", so the straight answer is "yes". I thought as much.

From: Oryx Tempel Whee! Parasites! "Adult fleas are not only a nuisance to humans and their pets, but can cause medical problems including flea allergy dermatitis (FAD), tapeworms, secondary skin irritations and, in extreme cases, anemia. Also, fleas may transmit bubonic plague and murine typhus (endemic typhus) from rats to humans." Wow. I'm glad I only encounted bedbugs recently. At least those bites only drove me insane but didn't make me sick. Sort of like Vampires, I assume. I didn't know how lucky I was in the grand scheme of the creepy insect chain

Then me brightens, hands you a SLURL for her new house, pours you a glass of (red) wine, engages you in half an hour of interesting conversation, and bids you goodnight. As your form begins to waver, she whispers, "See you in world..."

From: Yosef Okelly Bloodlines is to Vampires as "Hungry Hungry Hippos" is to zoology. No way. The Hippos are way less irritating, and don't thrive quite so much on drama. Plus marbles are more fun to play with.

From: Zen Karillion Hello,
Interested in becoming a real vampire in Second Life? Come join the largest and the best vampire clan in Second Life. We have lots to offer to our family members. For more information please contact - Zen Karillion - in Second Life.
Thanks
Zen Karillion – Primogen No, because I would then have to kill me and stake my head above the Free Mercenaries castle walls. Our Golden Rule: Don't kill someone for free today if someone might pay you to kill them tomorrow. We make exceptions for Bloodlines.

From: Yosef Okelly Any Buffy fan will tell you, vampire Willow was HAWT!! Dude, Willow was just hot all by herself to begin with. Those that munged onto her when she became a vamp were late to the party. Used to be a fan club - it was "WAIFS" - the Willow Association of Internet Fans or something like that.

From: Zen Karillion emm, for those of you who don't like vampires, why did you post on here? very interesting. nothing better to do? No one here does not like vampires, the truth is Bloodlines and its pyramid Scheme "Role play" system, and lack of "Character Role Play" has left it on the black sheep side of the vampire role play. Bloodlines is a lot like Guild Wars in its factions as far as I can tell, you have you nonroleplay stats climbers, your PvPers, and your EXTREMELY small population of actual roleplayers who actually... heres a thought from a roleplayer... have developed a character persona? In the end as other have mentioned there are likely far better roleplays out there I am sure. Please do not recruit here to make your pyramid and stats just a little bit bigger. You are obviously NOT a roleplayer if you have to come here to ask.

From: Raudf Fox it's considered courteous to report one's own thread if it is posted in the wrong forum/sub-forum. I think you don't get a "Report Bad Post" triangle icon and link on any of your own posts. . To get my posts moved or beg to have a spelling error in the thread title corrected, I've had to log in with another account. In the event the OP wants to use the "Report Bad Post" link for this thread, here it is: http://forums.secondlife.com/report.php?p=2239691 .

Instead of joining I am going to AR the every last one that asks, countless times, to allow a bite. I am damn tired of it.

From: Rioko Bamaisin I have a few friends in world that were/are part of bloodlines. They never asked to bite me yet. Should I be offended? See thats your problem. Spampires tend to lurk at places where people congregate, such as at expos (one bite request I had was from a guy lurking outside a "women only" spot, so he cammed in and spammed everyone inside), or at voting contest sites (I was hit by Spampires when I was voting for a friend at the Babblefish contest site).

How to annoy a bloodlines spampire...
12-04-2008 09:58
Hang around a welcome centre, stand next to a spampire and everytime a newbie comes close shout:-
ATTENTION ATTENTION - NEWBIES, IF YOU GET A POP UP REQUEST TO ANIMATE YOUR AVATAR BY A BLOODLINES SPAMPIRE, JUST DISCARD
I've found it really gets on their nerves for some reason?

From: Zen Karillion emm, for those of you who don't like vampires, why did you post on here? very interesting. nothing better to do? Because you, trying to be a bright little monkey, decided to justify putting your ad In the RESIDENT ANSWERS forum by making it a question. So, we're just answering your question is all. Can't help it you don't like the answers...perhaps you'd be better advised to use the advertising forums if you don't want answers to the question you posed? And its not that we don't like vampires, a lot of us like vampires but DETEST the moronic, spamming idiots that gravitate towards Bloodlines. There's a hell of a difference between intelligent, literate RP vampires and point-and-click hud-wielding dullards that are the bulk of Bloodlines users.

Shame really as he just confirms the opinion and galvanizes the stance of the people here against the annoying idiots he represents.

I guess it makes sense that a Bloodlines vampire would spam and troll in the forums. I hope in RL you're a better citizen than you are showing yourself to be here, Zen. Resident answers is not for advertising. Advertising your pyramid "vampire" marketing scheme is particularly noxious. (I put vampire in quotes because the Bloodlines hud strangles any interesting Vampire RP participants may wish to find.) I think that newbies looking for vampire RP who encounter Bloodlines are bound to think SL is lame, another wonderful effect.
