Yesterday I have been with my daughter to the Royal Dutch Museum in Amsterdam and saw there nudity.... and not one moment I felt offended. I knew it would be there.
I have also been with my daughter to the Sex Museum in Amsterdam (yes, she old enough for that) and we had some good laughs and giggles... and I was not one moment offended, because I knew I would see nudity there.
If I go on a sunny day to a Dutch beach, I know I can expect some nudity (topless) there. I will not be offended, because I know I can expect it there.
When I walk around on mature sim, I will not be offended about nudity or explicit images, because I know I can expect them there.... even when they go beyond my personal taste (and I have an open taste/opinion when it comes to nudity).
But a PG sim is a place where I don't expect any kind of nudity, as I won't expect it at certain RL places.
The discussion what is tasteful nudity or even art is way too vague and depending on personal views to allow it everywhere... PG sims are one of those places in SL, as I could mention some RL places as well.
Again, I don't mind nudity.... not in SL or RL. But it all what someone can expect somewhere... and as that can be very vague make some clear rules. Mature sims, go ahead... in PG sims, no.
