Assuming that this post addresses the likelihood that these forums will be closed down and you are suggesting SLU would be an appropriate place to which to migrate I will respond accordingly.

Since SLU appears to have no equivalent to the ToS/Guidelines that apply here in the forums, and operates on the whim of the owner/moderator with an apparent positive encouragement of nonPG behavior, your observation is self-referentially pointless, an empty implicit threat replete with braggadocio and devoid of content. In case that is too complex for someone whose preferred habitat is SLU I will offer the analogy of a snake suggesting a zookeeper should visit the jungle.

Perhaps you are not aiming your post at me, but offering a pre-emptive warning for those who might be considering SLU as an option once these forums are taken down. If so, then I do not think I have to say more.

Wow. For someone who has not even bothered to sign up and post on SLU, you have a great understanding of what goes on over there.

SLU is NOT a Linden Labs sponsored forum, and therefore, we don't have to hold ourselves to a higher standard that you feel you have to "sheriff" here. Please, by all means Cato, come over to SLU and tell us exactly what we're doing wrong and how we should better ourselves to your standards. We're all dying to see the error of our ways there and would love it if you could steer us on the path of righteousness. We're all sinners there. Every single one of us, me included.

It is interesting to see that you are the second visitor from SLU who appears unable to comprehend what is going on here. I am simply carrying out LLs standing request - as quoted in my sig - regarding the reporting of bad posts. There is no such equivalent policy that I can identify in SLU (and by the way, aren't you being a little naive in assuming that I am not signed up on SLU, or don't you understand the concept of multiple alts there?) so there is no point in Cato visiting you, is there?

I am glad that you acknowledge that these forums are conducted to a "higher standard" though, and I am delighted to observe that those standards are being observed much more closely since I began reporting breaches of them.

By the way, since you probably don't post here often, perhaps you don't realise that sarcasm is generally indicated by . I am able to discern it but many of the others here seem to find it difficult to identify.

Just where in the hell are you getting the info that you have made a change at all? In case you yourself didn't get it, the Linden that locked the one thread because of trolling was referring to you as the troll, which you are.

Since you ask, I have tracked those posters that I have ARd and their behavior in respect of the breaches notified has improved considerably which implies that they have received appropriate warnings.

I think you are laboring under a misapprehension, as I have not noticed any threads here recently locked by Lindens. Perhaps you should check the accuracy of your statement?

As far as helping is concerned, if LL did not want the sort of simple assistance that I am providing then why would they include the request in the Guidelines for these forums? I can think of any number of ways in which the forums would be improved and would encourage the posting of questions if a strict PG policy was followed by posters. Unfortunately it seems that LL currently perceive the forums as uneconomic to proactively manage on a PG basis and we will see the end of them in the near future.

Thank you for your interest however. Continuing responses serve to maintain this thread on the first page highlighting to posters the prospective demise of these forums as well as their PG status.

The forums are as PG as tv and movies. Which means they are not going to be upset at certain words being used here and there.

But they will get upset with someone who spam reports anyone for saying something they don't like under the guise of being a monitor of the conduct of others.

You are more or less trolling, for drama and causing problems under the false pretense of being a dedicated monitor of behavior.

I post where I choose, and I do not have to justify my reasoning for not posting here as often as those who have a lot of posts behind their name.
