To my mind, one of many problems with this "adult content" malarkey is that no one, and certainly not Linden Labs, seems to know what it comprises.

Since we have it, apparently, on good authority that "Kidnap, auction and slavery RP" are "mature," as opposed to "adult," content, I can't really blame the OP for seeking clarification of how her strip club fits into the great scheme of things.

I'm confused, too; my animator friend and I make a lot of things, including quite a range of furniture (thrones and the like) filled with animations of particular interest to those who find bdsm interesting.

Depending on who we talk to, either we'll have to produce two sets of vendors and restrict those that sell bdsm stuff to adult areas or, so long as we change a few of the product illustrations, there's no need to worry that the vendors will be returned to us as the result of an abuse report.

We can live with either option -- it would just be helpful if we (and everyone else) knew what the rules actually were.

Lindens have retreated from the wilds of our grids and stay in Linden grids or grids that they own land in, which would still make it a Linden grid. The same as they have retreated from the wild frontiers of the forum, stayed in their own little threads up top for awhile, finally forsaking all for their blog.

All this means is that furries can be naked on mature sims but humans can't.

I can go "naked" (rather "unclothed" even on PG sims. There is nothing to see but fur. That makes changing clothing so much easier than for people. I just undress. LOL. (This is the default skin though - the adult version is a bit different *cough*).

Some places are even weird about that. I was at [large, popular, oriental/anime-style clothing sim, starts with 'B'] who even use furry models in their product pictures. I was wearing a completely PG fur skin but no clothes, and was asked to cover myself or leave. *shrugs* I put it down to the inexperience of the assistant on duty, and came back when I was human.

Yes, kinda. Private Estates that wish to have activity now considered 'Adult' need to be tagged as Adult. They don't have to move, or anything, just set that flag.
