Why are you guys asking that certain threads be locked? What is it to you? This I don't understand. If you don't like whatever thread there is then don't open it for review. Case closed. You can't be that sensitive that a thread actually bothers you.

Don't tell me you're doing this now. This is a mods job, not anyone posting here. You guys are incredible. I saw this on another thread, they closed it, reason given was someone asked it be closed.

Give up the Mods dream it's not becoming especially if you're not an appointed mod by Linden it's not.

So petition LL to remove the "Report Bad Post" button, why dontcha? I don't often ask for a thread to be removed or locked. But it's my right to do so, and once in a while I use it. Just like I can put individuals who annoy me on my Ignore list. Which is where you go back to as soon as i finish this reply.

I asked why anyone feels the need to ask for a thread be close? Why? Instead of an answer I get "I'm putting you on ignore cause you hurt my feelings" BS.

I mean, does it hurt your eyes? Does it hurt your feelings? Maybe your ego? What? As I stated before I don't understand why the need for this? Maybe they're trying to impress someone by looking or acting like they're in charge? I don't know.

The threads themselves mean nothing to me and they shouldn't mean anything to anyone either. What's so wrong that you need to ask for the closing of threads? A simple question.

If you read back to the first post I made regarding the closing of threads I merely asked why? I didn't single anyone out nor did I say anything wrong. Unfortunately, someone had an itch so they felt the need to scratch.

i'm responding to the original post that said posts are being stealth locked so if this is happening great. If its not okay

I didn't read and often dont read the entire thread discussion because half the time they go off topic and start into something I really not intersted in or possibly a flame war on politics or something. If moderation is actually happening and its okay its fine. The threads I saw were locked some had a reason and some did not. In some cases I could not tell who was moderating them because of how they were locked. LL has a habit of locking threads that way in "stealth" mode. So i'm just commenting on the stealth locks and moves etc some of which seemed inappropriate, but since you have no idea who did it because they didn't leave their footprint behind its kinda hard to send them a message if needed which some people do.

What I get from this is, Cherry referred to my inventory as a 'mere hairball,' you said no, that was me, and then that I was cute a couple posts later.

I don't think it's a matter of being afraid it's a matter of not wanting to listen to the constant whining and bitching done by some people here. It gets tiring after awhile until the point they are just a huge pain in the ass and there is nowhere left to go but mute. It would take a lot for me to be scared of anyone on a freakin message board. Though I do like you and your posts Ricardo,in a strange and almost unnatural way....:/

I had thought of doing exactly what you just did, rounding up the comments but lazy me I didn't.

What I meant was talking of hairballs was your dept being you're a cat. Then the cute comment came later on in reference to you. Actually, it was Recreants fault, he started the whole thing so pounce on him instead.

But you know you enjoy me saying you're cute. I may even be seen as being human.

Ok, this was what I had asked for, to be given a simple reply which you have.

Now, I don't agree with having any threads locked, I just don't see it. Like with me, if I don't like what's being said, I move on to another thread. It's not like the posts are screaming out where you can hear anything. It shouldn't come to the extreme where it actually bothers someone to the point of asking for a lockdown or having a breakdown.

The mods do this on their own. I know you can report a bad post although, that's not for me either. This here is for discussions, debates, sometimes heated but usually always it's no big deal. No big deal to mature adults who know better then to make a big stink over something someone wrote about. But you know how the overly sensitive can be.

Like you said, it takes a lot to be scared off of mere message boards. But as can be seen a few don't mind being seen as scared rabbits high-tailing it out while all the while convulsing in agony while screaming out "I'm putting you on ignoreee!!!!" for nothing more then a simple question that had been asked.

Go figure.
