I admire actions based on principle. I appreciate explanations, whether I agree with them or not. I despise cowardice.
Do something in this public place, ok,, explain it. Don't explain it, and it is reasonable to assume you are either too cowardly to explain yourself, or too ashamed of what you are doing, or too egocentric and arrogant to be moderating anything conducted by adults, or even by schoolchildren beyond the level of kindergarten. An explanation of an action is not too much to ask. Please do not play God; there are too many atheists, agnostics, and apostates here to expect anything but contempt for that sort of action. IBTL. |

first we were whining for mods, and then when we finally get them, we whine that they don't "do it right". new mod, new style.
carry on, mods. personally, i like your style. keep 'em guessing. this is much like a small group of strangers in the elevator trying to figure out who let out that helacious fart after consuming a steaming bowl of cabbage and beans at the business luncheon.... silent, but deadly. _____________________

a few people who dont even use this board try to get rid of a mod on a board they hate using. Then linden labs steps in because that few pretty much asked for it and we get the kind of moderating we should not have. Where are those people now? are they here? (the answer is mostly no..) or have they gotten rid of the resmod they love to hate for a group that didn't mind his existance.. and replaced him with a stealth linden who of course is better? Ironic and funny I dont care either way I just find it kinda funny is all  _____________________
I know the competition that will come along someday is learning from LL's mistakes. But do they have to make so many? |

And your point is? I didn't say it was appropriate to move it, I just said that it was moved because a moderator thought it belonged there. That doesn't mean it actually should have been moved there but the motivation of the moderator is kind of obvious even if the move is inappropriate. I don't care about the motivation. The Man is The Man and can do whatever he (or she) wants. All I'm asking for is a little "I moved this thread to so-and-so place" link. _____________________

I'm glad we have some moderation and, like Ann said, in the thread she locked last, she posted a reason for locking. I could kiss her for locking that thread, but I'd probably just get banned for trying, so maybe I'll just thank her instead. _____________________
