I don't think anyone expects you to "have bad feelings" about Pep. I don't: one of his best (and, at this stage, maybe only) friends here is a woman I respect and like enormously. There is no social pressure here to dislike Pep.

But you have to understand that some of us have a history of deaings with him that infuences our attitudes. You needn't share those: by all means come to your own conclusions.

I am sorry to hear about your father. And I agree that in the long term, all of this doesn't much matter. But, as I say, there is history and context here that you apparently don't have access to. We haven't all just met each other her for the first time today.

I do answer and maybe you woule like to go and see your dad when he has cut his throat because he didnt want to be here any more then tell me Im not a strong person because I have done this twice. Try it

Laika, seriously, please take some advice. Take the rest of today away from here . . . give it a break. Come back tomorrow, hopefully refreshed and a bit more ready to make friends? I think you'd be surprised at how friendly and supportive people here can be.

I HAVE 'tried it' as you suggest. Picking up the pieces of an attempted suicide. And yeah, it sucks. Matter of fact, the last time was just last month. But, never did I come here to the SL forum and start going off on people because I had a rough time in my RL. You aren't the only one with RL issues, such as what happened with your dad. Why start hating on people that have nothing to do with it? I mean, just pick a bunch of strangers and start going off? What does that do to help you in your grief over what your dad is doing? Just a vent? I got RL help to help me deal with my situation. Would you like some referrals, in RL or SL to help you?

I live every day not knowing if my dad is going to take his own life. I have had to throw out two beds I have never seen so much blood in my life. My mum has left because she can't deal with it. I have to sorry if that is not good enough

Laika, don't apologize. And I'm very sorry: clearly it is very difficult for you.

This is why I think you should take a break, and start over tomorrow. Give it a fresh start, and I think you'll find that there are many people here who will want to listen. It's actually a very supportive little community.

If you need to talk to someone, is there someone in RL who knows you already? It's much better to talk to a friend about these things than strangers. Better for you, I mean.

I just dropped you two notecards inworld; about how to help a potential suicide, and how to take care of yourself, as the intervention person. If you do not want them feel free to delete. They helped me when I was in your shoes, last month with a family member.

I don't think you offended anyone. Many of us are sympathetic.

Be careful baring your heart here in the forum, though. You can just as easily be wounded as comforted.

Nobody here has asked you to do anything except to stop attacking people you don't know.

I've had to do terrible things, too. I've had relatives who attempted to kill themselves. I've saved lives. I've carried someone though a terrible period of drug addiction and despair. I don't use that as an excuse to attack people and hurt them. If you're feeling upset and emotional right now, and you have to take it out on us, well I guess that's what you have to do. I'll let you get on with it.

If you were looking for help or sympathy on these forums all you need to do is look back at some of the posts on here, mostly all of them from the same people, and you will realise that all you have done is to give them a new target to attack.

PS Laika: we can't change your real life (although SL has resources that might offer some help, as Treasure has suggested) but why don't you create another alt now that this one is busted, and restart your participation here (and inworld) on a positive basis to pursue your "escape" here, which was presumably your original intention.

Not sure where your observations of bitterness and twist come from Laika. I have gotten more good laughs through this thread than a year's worth of Seinfeld episodes or the entire Three Stooges film library. In fact, the comedy and good times here far exceed even the profound and proverbial Jim Carrey film classic "Dumb and Dumber." If you provide me with your mailing address, I will send you a box of Kleenex...
