Laughs... so true. I lived in Singapore for a while and I can always remember the tourists or new guys that would go into one of the local hangouts and think the were the luckiest guys in the world. Dancing and romancing and picking up a very pretty lady-boy.

I spent too much time in Ventrillo clearing Black Wing F'N Lair. To me voice blows chunks. So in conclusion, I don't do voice. If you like it then two woohoos for you. Enjoy and have a ball. I'm quite certian I like things you could easily live happily without. Sourkraut maybe. Or foods so spicey hot they make you sweat. Or the sharp sting on the back of my fingers as my knuckles chush through the lip and impact the teeth. If you don't expect me todo voice just because you like it I want expect you to cut words in your chest just because I happen to feel like it that day.

So true! In RL, too....I've had loads of examples of men complaining stuff doesn't work....the same kind that doesn't check the map and then is too manly to ask for the way. Me, I am my own navigation system. I check the map and find the way. Easy.
And I treat people in SL they way they want to be treated. If they're a different gender in RL, I don't care.

OK, German food question: I can't remember the name of it, but I used to love it. It's beef, that's sort of sweet and sour. My mother used to make it by crushing up gingersnaps, rolling beef strips in it, then pan-frying the beef, and making a sort of vinegary sauce, and noodles to go with it? What's that called?

Sounds like Sauerbraten, well a variation of it at least. Normally it's made as a roast, but things vary alot by region

Sauerbraten

Ingredients:
3 to 4 lbs Chuck, 2" thick, cut into large serving pieces
2 cups white vinegar
1 cup water
1/2 cup sugar
salt & pepper
l small onion, chopped
small bag pickling spices
l cup grated gingersnaps


Preparation:
Brown meat in oil, drain off fat. Pour marinade over meat and place in refrigerator for 48 hours. (turn meat three times per day). Cook meat and mixture in covered pot for two hours or until meat is tender. Cool some of the juices, mix with flour and gingersnaps, and blend into the balance of the marinade. Serve over homemade noodles

Finally I pie I like (I'm not to keen on the sweet kind of pie).


My mom does a fantabulous sauerbraten....it's just that I personally don't like it!

@Oryx and Victoria: That's surely some American variation of sauerbraten. The original is a big slab of meat (don't ask me what it's called, I don't even know that in German...) that you leave in a kind of marinade overnight that consists of a lot of vinegar and onions and other spices. The meat will turn a very sickly grey colour....then you make a separate gravy to go with it with a little of the marinade and something else to turn it brown....I've never paid too much attention I'm afraid. It's an acquired taste for most Germans too.
