Why so many whorish types?

Exhibitionism is a well-known character trait; some people enjoy being sexually admired. In RL, the wish to do this is usually tempered by the threat of various consequences, both legal and social; you could end up in jail, beaten and/or raped by people who got the wrong idea about your intentions, or socially ostracized.

In Second Life, the consequences are lessened. You won't be jailed (though you could be banned from specific land parcels, and if you are an egregious violator of PG areas, especially important ones like the Welcome Areas, you could be suspended by LL). You can't be assaulted in a serious way; the worst that can happen (unless you consent) is that you can get shoved by a push weapon (assuming the land even allows that) or bumped around by other avatars. Social ostracism remains a real danger, but if it gets too bad you can just abandon your avatar and come back as somebody else.

As a result, some people choose to try out a more exhibitionist self in Second Life. Some give it up. Some find appropriate venues to practice their exhibitionism; there are many places in SL where public nudity and sexual behavior are welcome and even encouraged. Some don't do either of those things, and end up being a nuisance.

I dress as casual as I do in RL - I usually wear some skate trainers, skinny jeans and a ramones T-shirt.

Yesterday I was at a surfing beach looking for waves and a bloke started having a go at me "Jeez, what a state" "you could at least put some effort in, like this girl"
(the girl he was talking talking to had the group tag "sexy stripper" and was wearing a see through top and a tiny skirt - now this girl's clothes were not my taste at all, but I wouldn't proclaim that in front of a beach full of people).

I like my causal skater style - I don't come into SL to "be whoever I want to be" I already live my RL this way - my SL avatar is just a reflection of my RL self and people shouldn't be so damn rude!

Now of course there was some implied boasting involved in your earlier post -

For you to have enough experience to reliably know whether pretty women are as good in bed as less pretty ones you'd have to slept with a fair number of each.

Otherwise you'd just be making stuff up - Or passing on the experiences of others as your own.

Besides the fact that "good in bed" is pretty subjective, since what you'd really be saying is "good in bed when having sex with YOU"

Looks personally have nothing to do with how good they are in bed from personal experience.
Not talking about though type of ugly you're afraid to be near because you might get cooties... I wouldn't go there but it amazing how many guys do at least in real life and actually pay woman that look like walking diseases.
