What's Your Goofiest RL-Bleed-over Moment?

Has anyone in fl ever found their human is horny and goes and looks for pose balls
in hopes of tricking your mate to go hop on one with you and disappointed when there is no pose balls to be found?

There are! Except they are called "dumpsters".

And people look at you weird if you pick stuff up after you're about 16 or so. I guess they're only for teen.reallife.com.

I catch myself doing that camera control thing on websites … and for a moment wonder why it’s not working. But another one I find myself doing is using chat abbreviations that I use in sl like (kk, np) when I reply to company email on my blackberry …

I've had to bite my tongue more than once to keep from asking a woman where she got her skin or hair.

I find myself craving a TP out of so many boring rl events or discussions.

SO tempted to say "Sorry, I'm getting network problems" and slump over in the 'Away' animation.?

I really wanted to wear my "Socially Innept" t-shirt to work today, and spent about a minute trying to figure out where it was -- in the closet, in the laundry, etc., before remembering it was in my SL inventory...

Wait that won't work RL... damnit.

OK here is a SL RL bleed over thing that is bugging me badly -
In the SL chat, even the chat window lags... so for other windows text applications, I find myself frantically hitting the backspace or arrow keys trying to get it to speed up...

Anyone who has NOT done this?

New to me...It makes people type faster? (Surely not!)

Well, let's see... most of mine are ones people have already mentioned:

Looking at an RL building or setting and wondering how many prims it would take...

Looked for the camera controls when looking at an SL snapshot or some website and gotten irritated when I couldn't find it and cam around for a better view...

Asked someone to "IM me later" instead of "call me later"...

And once, when I was VERY tired, just before bed, I picked up a (fortunately empty) box off my bed, turned and placed it out of the way but at a convenient height in midair for later access, let go... then looked at it stupidly for several long seconds, trying to figure out why it fell to the floor, because I *knew* I hadn't ticked the box to enable physics on it...

when I first got with hubby in RL, I was filling out some forms that required our RL names....

well of course I put my own RL name... correctly I might add heh

when I put his... I put his SL name (his sl and rl first names are the same, last names not the same)
I put the SL last name..... ooooops

he um.. was like um....

I have finding myself in my first life when I want to hug my boyfriend say out loud

Last night I was looking at my RL Christmas tree and I said..how many prims is it?

Well, maybe he is worried about what you want to "sniff".

And if you 2 get into a "mature" scene, click the RL poseballs, and things lag and take a while, that would be a good thing for once to have "lag" right?

I will be the first to say this -
in RL, the FIRST time I am trying to make love and someone walks in the room and says "I am new to SL", I will be up on murder charges.

I woke in the middle of the night, looked out of an open window and wondered what was happening to the building opposite, so flexed knees ready to fly out the window to check it out. Luckily woke sufficiently to stop myself.

Also, got very excited when I saw a sign which said Sims £7 each, nearly crashed the car lol.

My RL best friend and i are on SL a lot...her WAY more than i can be (thanks to a sucky computer) and when we are shopping, we will actually gravitate to the clothing or accessories that we would buy on SL...stuff we can even wear in RL...hahahahaha

And i keep wondering how landscaping would look in my SL yard, and don't get me started on christmas decoration prim counts!!! ROFLMAO

Well there is nothing really funny about what you said, it is true instead.
SL can be a good testing ground for things in RL...
I mean just to get somewhat of an Idea.
But worry not, prims are not an issue...

You CAN however run into actual lag at the store - when that old lady is digging thru her purse for her checkbook. the RL and SL aggrivation is the same there...

I find RL gets real laggy late at night. Disconnecting for a few hours usually clears it up. Coffee helps, too.

Don't talk to me about RL lag, I spend 8 hours a day at a boring job that the hours lag non-stop so I know ALL about lag.
Sometimes I even wonder if my RL wristwatch is broke or if it is not the flexi-watch.
I will contact L.E.I. about this and see if they have flexi watches. hahah

Man I hate Brainlag and when rl time and reality gets really laggy and nothing rezzes properly everything goes gray. It even worse when my brains computer decides to crash and I am unconscious for days at time and I can't doodle anything. I keep hoping for server upgrade but not sure if there was one if I could afford the tier fees and installation. Any one got some spare brain memory chips that would fit in my head? LOL
