From: LittleMe Jewell I don't think, in all my time in SL, I ever really thought that the PG/Mature distinction applied to what happened in your house -- and I am sure a lot of the SL residents think the same way. It is not really spelled out in EXPLICIT detail - hell, LL cannot really manage to spell out very much in an explicit manner.
And if I was ever to have an SL family, I would come closer to assuming that the kids probably should not be living in a Mature sim.
I do now know how it is suppose to be, but that is not how I always thought it was. My second purchase of mainland was in a PG sim, but it was a mistake. When I realized it, I promptly sold off and bought another mature parcel. It doesn't matter if your land is being used as a residence. No sex, violence, cussing in PG sims has always been the rule, and it doesn't say "except if it's in your home."

I admittedly blundered along in my first SL months...bought PG land as by ocean not realising any restrictions of massive impact. This land was bordered on 2 sides by mature land. Only after a long while running my 'furniture' store did someone query the sex beds......so i asked LL in a ticket and guess what there was no 'remove it completely' reply, in fact even my sex hotel (behind closed doors) wasnt a problem.
A long while later they removed some rezzers having to crawl over sexbeds in the process...stilll no problem on PG.
I finally set up a mirror store in mature and eventually voluntarily moved completely to PG especially as soon as AO hit the blogs.
So Blondin ..yes sexbeds are and were sold in PG with the knowledge and no censure from LL. There is also a dance club with sex and escorts running in PG.
If past advice and understanding plus policing of PG in the past is anything to go by then what will still happen in mature will be equally chaotic.

This is a case of "You're only in trouble if you're caught". Think of all the nasty things you see in (PG) welcome areas. They're all TOS/CS violations. But nothing will happen until they're ARed. That's how it works. That's what it's there for. (=_=)
You CAN theoretically have a mass-ageplay-orgy in the middle of a (PG) welcome area if nobody cares enough to send an AR. But, the moment that AR comes around, don't expect your account to last long. =^-^=
Truly... I often go up to double that until I see those silly cars with blue lights on them. =^-^= That is right, LL has always taken the position that sexual activity of any sort is not allowed in PG sims, even behind closed doors.

The rating on individual land parcels cannot be changed, only the entire sim. Linden owned sims will not be changed from PG to Mature, you need to buy land in a sim with the designation you seek. The only people who can change the rating of an entire sim are those who own private island sims.

Linden owned sims will not be changed from PG to Mature, you need to buy land in a sim with the designation you seek. So any suggestion for making it pay to have a pg sim, lol, because whatever linden feel, ppl will vote with their feet and move to mature regions to live, as most homes do have a sex bed in it, |

Create a poll I don't have a bed like that in my house since I don't want some noobs to have sex there when I am not online. And I wouldn't mind living on a PG sim. (That doesn't mean I've never used beds like that, just not in my house.)
