From: Pserendipity Daniels You have to be more specific.
When women are 30-40 is the only decade worth bothering with them.
1. They can be desperate, to get married and/or to have a baby before the biological clock stops ticking, which makes them conveniently credulous.
2. Their looks haven't got too jaded and they usually haven't yet had to resort to surgery to unsag.
3. Occasionally, their brains have switched on, although this doesn't last long; for a short period they realise that they can't change men, although this tends to revert after a while.
4. When they exclaim "Oh God!" in bed, it doesn't yet mean that they have realised the ceiling needs repainting.
5. They have generally got enough money that you don't need to be subsidising their every whim. If they haven't . . . well, forget them.
Pep (So your "Golden Years" are imminent Jig. Make the most of them. It is downhill for women, but not for men - thereafter.) Nothing like a bit of utterly sexist twaddle to cheer me up over my morning coffee!! Although I suppose I should be pleased, as I fit into this particular demographic. But then I've found EVERY age I've been at to be my "Golden Years."

From: Mickey Vandeverre Jig - you really, really need to pay attention to this, and remove some of the information you've supplied, and tone it way down on any RL info....hopefully it wasn't quoted. Considering some of the troubles you've had recently, and how it affected your SL....you certainly do not want it to roll over into RL.
I would send that advice to you privately....but there's quite a few other people who need to take note of that here. I cringe every time I see something like that come up, because I had someone show up face to face based on a few very tiny tidbits in a private conversation....and there are people here giving far more than a tiny tidbit in a venue that is read by 100's....1000's....and is archived as well....and that goes with any posting made anywhere on the Internet in any venue. Major Mistake. Agreed. Cardinal rule of safety in SL or here is keep RL private and anonymous. And that's true whether you've pissed people off or not.

From: Pserendipity Daniels Have you checked with any real men recently? Well, define "real men." You mean, not the quiche-eating variety? The RL men with whom I associate have somewhat more liberal and rational attitudes than you evince here. Or I wouldn't associate with them in the first place. From: Pserendipity Daniels Pep (And make the most of it; you are going to fall off the cliff soon.) PPPPFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTT!!!! (I am going to see if I can raspberry you in every current thread of this forum.)

Pep (You'll be blackballed by the Non-Existent Clique if you have the temerity to quote me there.) Do you know, I've never posted in that thread? In fact, I've barely ever even looked at it. It's become a sort of nonsensical point of principle with me; I'm really not sure why. As for my temerity, I'll damn well quote whatever absurdly sexist garbage I want; just let anyone try and stop me!

I definitely won't say what I do to them on trains

I definitely won't say what I do to them on trains Trains in Canada . . . proper ones, I mean, not subway trains . . . all feature seats that face in the same direction. It's a really dull arrangement, that makes doing ANYTHING with young men on trains virtually impossible.

Pep ('temerity' is a good one for intelligent but emotional types; "ignorant" is better for dullards.) Spoken like a true master of the art of "pressing buttons." And whom are you calling "emotional"????? From: Pserendipity Daniels Don't they have "rest rooms"? Pep (considers investing in a Canadian bulldog clip manufacturer. ) Well, yes . . . we got rid of the buckets under the seats some time ago, actually. But the rest rooms are rather small. And it would be difficult, I think, to bring a "friend" into one without being noticed by the entire car. Not to mention the fact that they have VERY thin walls that would render pretty much any, um, noise, audible to everyone within about 10 metres. Besides (she added hastily), what I was talking about was more in the realm of making eye contact, gentle flirting, etc., etc. (I am really and truly afraid to inquire into the reason behind your reference to bulldog clips . . . )

Have at it. NOT laughing at you, Mickey. You are right in reminding us of our realities. We tend to forget them here or mix them up. I'm thankful you reminded me - as you can see I erased much.
