To Ignore or not to Ignore?

Phil. For every word I write, I have read maybe a hundred. I know what's going on here - roughly. And I can form my own opinion on that.

I think that Phil, you and Love fulfil more of those accusations than I ever have, actually.

I am normally a lurker and don't post much, nor do I read the undying thread so missed the initial cause of all this, But I am heartily sick of seeing Peps posts bring up the same old moan time and time again. I come to these forums looking for answers to sl related topics and lately all there seems to be is thread derailments by Pep, who when called on that fact claims he is doing it because

If Pep is really so concerned with the more sensitive participants in the forums then why has he not let the matter drop? He is the one that is bring up a sensitive subject time and time again. I completely agree the original post was way over the top ( from what I can see) and no matter the reason for it (friends leaving or the size of thighs) things like that should never be wished on anyone. However Pep needs to get a grip on himself and stop behaving like a bairn.

I applaud Phil for having the stones to confront this directly and try to get something done about it. Yes the best way to deal with bullies and attention seekers is to just ignore them, but that shouldn't mean we just stand by and watch someone being constantly harassed and reminded of an outburst which most likely they probably regret now.

Anyway that's just my opinion, as I say I prefer to remain in the background, but I felt this was worth saying.

It is a forum on the internet. If anyone is going to base opinions about a person completely on what ONE other person posts, then that person isn't worth my bother anyway.

I have been reading these forums almost every day for 3 years and there has never been anyone on my ignore list. But, I do tend to not read what certain people write because to me, they offer no benefit to the forums and write nothing but a bunch of pompous troll blather with (you decide what kind of) statements between parenthesis. These are the ones that do not contribute any value to the forums.

If forum rules have been broken, then the offender should be reported, but I have no confidence in LL moderation here. Therefore, I think it is up to the forum users as a group to moderate themselves, and in this case I think Phil is right to call out the improper behavior of one forum participant against another.

This is not the first incident and it probably wont stop until these forums are gone.

Hell, I wish we could get some sex involved in this.

So Phil is right to call me out for what *you* and *he* call improper behaviour (although this is by no means an universal view) which is my calling out someone else's behaviour which is *most definitely* improper, by *any* measure.

Ignore the response you got to your post. Coincidentally, I'd just been thinking that I haven't seen a single post in support of his harrassment crusade. There are some people who support not responding to it but I haven't seen any support for what he's doing. He's wrong about that.

Any number of people have gone on public record as expressing absolute distaste for Rhonda's expletive filled tirade urging my painful death. Even you (from a point of view of ignorance I suspect) suggested that perhaps it was inappropriate before performing a volte face and supporting it, offering various different pathetic apologia for it.
