I'm picky but I've met some real gorgeous men by being less picky on first contact.

Oh come on. My last post was pretty long and thought out. Does no one want to debate some point around the topic it was addressing?

It's not really debatable: it expresses how you are, and good for you.

If you'd made generalizations about how other people are, or criticized people for being how they are, most likely you'd have gotten some, um, "feedback".

A person's qualities matter a lot to me, but I'll confess that I've met people whom I'd wished I could love and/or get the hots for, but couldn't, due to lack of physical attraction. I'll also confess that I've been able to overlook personality issues for a bit of short term fun. I doubt that makes me very unusual, especially among men.

I agree. I've been out with men who must be closely related to hedgehogs. In real that is. I always imagine them with brown leaves and twigs stuck to their jackets and whiskery blotches of dried milk on a shirt sleeve. Well, that is how I "see" them anyway but of course that is my mind's eye. In real they are decent enough.

What am I saying? Well, what I mean to say is "image" is everything. I am a shallow baseless creature this lunch time.
