Kudos on the party pics, you all did yourself proud.

Mo...I am impressed.

Mari, Hugs to you for your loss.

Right now I'm watching men and machines ripping up my driveway so it can be repaved and widened.

Here's a Boomer Pic

How many times did Lexxi and Love change their costumes anyway?

Well, I showed up at the hangout thinking the party started at 4 dressed normally (but hey, it's my SL!) ... so I changed to my emergency robot quickly, but then someone told me they have one too, so I found something a bit more exclusive to wear. :D

It was not all fun and games. A friend of mine, Kenzie Reyna, has been sick for a while, an was on a waiting list for a lung transplant. Her wait is over, but not in the good way. She passed away last week. Her family and friends help a memorial. A fairly upbeat one - much like Kenzie was - celebrating Kenzie's life.

:( sorry about your friend, Kenzie.

the rest of the pics look like you had a great time otherwise.

Your pics are great. Thank you SO much for trying to get shots of as many party-goers as you did!!
We had right around 90 avatars stop in during the 12 hrs.

I missed many of Cee & Litta's costume changes and I missed a lot of Lexxi's. I thought I had a pic of Ghosty and then I went to edit it, most of him was covered by the scarf of big-tittie-Litta. And I did not get many couples dancing - they are so hard to do especially once it starts getting crowded.

Good morning

I am running a little late today. I lost my graphics card and had to swap back to my old one. This one will run SL but I know what I am going to put on my Santa Wish List :)

I am a bit cranky today. On Friday, I paid (inworld) the avatar SLXTerminal Bigwig directly instead of going to an Xstreet Terminal.

The lindens still have not showed up in my Xstreet account.

note: I'm not cranky at the avatar since I don't know who/what he/she is, but more at myself for just not going to find a terminal.

Rez this in your house, give it permission to take money, and you'll never have to pay a terminal or the avatar again:

https://xstreetsl.com/modules.php?name=Marketplace&file=item&ItemID=207296

Once it is rezzed and given debit permission, on your Xstreet page, right under where your L$ balance shows, there will be a new link called 'deposit'. When you click that and enter an amount, it takes the money directly from your inworld L$ balance.

I don't know when they stopped that, but I found out it no longer works like that a few weeks ago., too. :(

Thanks, all. An ya, it was no unexpected: she'd been in ill health for a long time. Still sad to see her go. She was in my class at HKE last year an got to know her a bit.

Well *I* think so, but you go to the trouble of moving with a van, driving all the way, things like that.

Great pics, Lil! Everyone is so creative. Notice there were no duplicates of costumes, which is amazing given the number of people there.

Thanks so much for organizing, Lil!

Last night the party went very well , for the short time I was there anyway. I hope the voice didn't keep anyone away. There was no pressure to use it if a person didn't want to. Unfortunally I will probably have to use voice for another 3 to 4 weeks. I do want to thank all those involved in pulling the event off and everyone who did voice so I didn't have to stand around mute. We are looking toward the Christmas party now. If someone wants to host a November party, just let us know.

Thanks again to all my many friends who make SL the special place it is.

I forgot to enable voice before I got there, and just never did get it going right. :( Anyway, glad you had a good time, and belated happy Halloween wishes.

@Mo... you are amazing, girl! Those pumpkins are works of art.

@Mari, so sorry to hear of your loss, even when expected, it still hurts.

/waves to everyone.. Nice to see so many of you at the party!

Thank you. It's been a bit of a blow to a lot of folks.

Some days I feel like a lot of us kids are all running on our own borrowed time, ya know? I know Kenzie's not the first we've lost due to health issues, an we've had to have fundraisers to help with so many others, including one friend who just hadda have some pretty major surgery.

Ahh. Well, that's half the fun, though! Sure, it would have been plenty easy to just teleport -- and yes, it's not like we had to really physically move every thing (it all goes into inventory like anything else) -- but it's fun to look at it as a RL move, and use the roads, an do all that.

I *love* making fun out of some supposedly common things. Imagine the silly fun if I ever got around to doing a "family vacation" trip around the grid, maybe even with a station wagon (has anyone made one?) or something? Struggling against border crossings, staying overnight at places like the truck stop and hotel on Route 1, etc.

i was listening to the game in the car yesterday.... but it was too brutal and i was worried i might crash from upset. i had to turn it off.

echoing what Kaimi said, nice pics Brenda and Seven.

It was sad, yes. I had no 'real' expectations though, so didn't get too upset. I am still a loyal Raider fan and always will be, Chargers be damned........

Hi all!
Sorry I missed the party, but not really sorry because I was somewhere very wonderful in RL instead. :) The pictures look great and it would have been nice to hear and be heard on voice. Hope everyone is doing well. I think 3 and I are planning on having a party on Nov. 7th (omg that's this saturday...) on our mainland parcel. Will try to get a notice out to the cartel group.

Eli

ETA forget what i said about that party... it seems I have to work this weekend. Inventory... ugh.

Is there a reason for your party? (nosy question, eh, well the worst you can do is say 'nunya'.) So doesn't hurt to ask. :D

Sorry I didn't make the forum party. So, many parties so little time. I find Halloween to be one of the most event packed times of SL... starting with Burning Life and continueing on through the 31st or even a few days more.

I had a great time! There was good seasonal RP in the RP I am currently engaged in. The annual brain hunt at Falln Angels. Many wonderful haunted houses and themed parties. Who could ask for more.

What a wonderful way to end Autumn and start winter!
