LOL i would venture to guess that most of what comes out of my brain in these early hours (3:20 am here currently) is babble, so i relate. :)

and you are soooo sweet!!! you are giving me a prezzie? :o i can't wait to go to the hangout and meet my new pet bird. thank you. :) does orange bird have a name? i can't be trusted to name him myself. cuz, i tend to name things in SL after office supplies. (Bodhi would be proud) :D

I named him Friday Night Snack. You might want to give him a different name. Or not. Snacky for short.

Oooh, Lexxi! You look like you're "easing down the road", dancing. :)

*meows* I was going to show the original painting/artwork, but it seems it isn't one of the ones I took a picture of, so a wider shot.

And yes, dancing down road/up bridge. :)

@Lexxi: Get that arm fixed while still in cartoon land. If you leave early, that could sting!

ETA:

Oh, well . . .. Happily I live in 3D land, and when I returned from cartoony world I found that the arm comes in handy in a different way. I am able to use it like a helicopter blade spinning madly keeping me in the air.

My brain works oddly. I always see these little phrases/letters/thingies differently then have to look closer. ETA. Estimated time of arrival. I do remember it can mean edited to add, just isn't the first thought that comes to mind.

Do I detect a recurrent theme?

Pep (is waiting for Eli to get a better offer.)

The only recurrent theme is you being obesessed with talking about my GF. Get a life.

"Obesessed"?

Pep (Is that a neologism for fat ladies being overly concerned with their weight?)

Whatever dude. Bring something to the table or stop posting. Tell us about something cool you saw or did in SL. Comment on the latest curve ball thrown at us by LL. Do something besides criticize and belittle other posters. You claim to have this super interesting SL and RL but all we ever hear from you is useless comments about other people's lives.

@Rhaorth - Sarah Michelle Gellar played Buffy. Yeah, I see that resemblance, too.

@Brenda - Welcome back, neighbor! Did Joan sing "I Hate Myself For Loving You"?

@Weston and Maureen - thanks for the tip about electrolytes. We didn't have any bananas in the house. I'm going to get some Gatorade later. After I post this I'll go lick some potassium salt.

I'm at work right now and feeling a lot better. It takes so long for the flu to go away!

This is what I wish I was doing:

So who died so that you got made a Linden? It would presumably have to be all of them, then most of the rest of the population of the USA.

Why are you so interested in my lives? Are yours so boring? Don't answer that: if what you post here is any indication I would fall asleep immediately at further disclosure. :p

This is Residents Answers, in case you need reminding. People ask questions and other people give their opinions. Then more people give their opinions on those opinions. I give opinions. Some people agree with my opinions, some don't. Lots of people have problems expressing their opinions and having this pointed out seems to annoy them. ;)

Yes she did...which based upon hearing the same old song here I am singing about this thread.

This thread has very little to do with resident answers and you know that. It's a social thread. I'm trying to offer you alternatives to the anti-social behavior you display here.
Even in the other threads that are involved with people looking for answers you don't offer any relevant answers or opinions. You point out spelling errors or throw in a snide comment about 3Ring. It's old, tired, and boring.

Would it sound shallow & egotistical of me to state that I have an upcoming date with a 26 yr old LPN who's working on her RN and then MSN???

YAY!! FINALLY!!! A woman with the urge to move BEYOND a minimum wage job at a mall !!!!

Sorry folks... Had to brag. :p

* although.... if she's vegetarian or vegan... all bets are off. Been there, done that. I like my animal muscle tissue!!! :p

** and if you're thinking "Why does he tell us this?"... Simple!!! I consider SL Residents my 2nd Family. Just as Dysfunctional as the Real One, but SL at least lets me shut the 2nd one off!! :)

Have a wonderful time on your date, Tod! Just take it one day at a time. :)

G'night, all! G'mornin All, too! That's the fun of all these time zones!

At the beginning of the weekend, I asked what fun things everbuggy would be doin'. I hope ya all managed t'get to them an stuff!

F'r myself, it was another weekend of workin' on Burny Life stuff. It;s two weeks 'til, which would be "crunch time," 'cept really mine is about done. It's jes polishing now. Well, that and experimenting and learning. Picking up some new scripting, sculpting, and texturing tricks. Really, it's one of the parts of Burning Life that happens during the build process that I wish more could experience.

We're not allowed so much to post "spoilers" of other people's work, but I can tell you that I've seen things out on the virtual playa that are well worth checking out, and are better than anything I've seen at Burning Life in any previous year. The level of art that many are bringing to it is amazing. I also like that the Burning Life "Art Department" has been doing some classes for those attending, helping us to learn way to make our builds less lag inducing so that all ya'll will have a far better experience.

Now they said no spoilers, but they said "teasers" of yer own stuff are okay, so here's a teaser close-up of my own build:

And a portrait of yours truly, all in my dust-fighting desert gear:

And a shot proving that its not all serious while we build on the desert. It's a moment of silly, with 18 folks doing a mass "thriller" dance on the playa. Just 'cuz:

I actually did not spend the entire weekend on site. I also got some time to have a sleepover with some friends who are staying with their families on the S.S. Galaxy. Here we are goofin' around outside of their cabin.

An because Hallowe'en is comin up, a dark, moody piccie of the gates of the Channel Island Asylum. Still an awful spooky place.

And that's the weekend! Hope everyone has a super week ahead!

Ooooh, just what I needed this morning: the latest edition of Mari's Weekend Update. *smiles*

I love that pic of the Channel Island Asylum. oooooh...spooky.

That "Thriller" dance is so much fun to do with a group. And I manage to do it so much better in SL. *grins*

Cannot WAIT to see your Burning Life build!!! *smiles happily*

Did you know you can click on someone name and send them a private message? It works great for discussing issues that the public does not need nor want to hear. That is unless you are a drama queen who is trying to make a scene. So you need to ask yourself, which is more important, the message or being noticed.

You might want to take that up with the Lindens, and bring to their attention that their rules are being flouted on a regular basis. Or maybe not?

Oh, but I do. I just don't always give the answers that people would like to hear in ways they would like to hear them.

Very rarely; you just notice it because you are hyper-emotionally overly sensitive.

If you feel like that you always have the option to put me on ignore and stop annoying others by quoting me.

heh...um...do I want to ask? ;)

*stammers* er...ah...well?

I was doing some gardening outside, replacing the flowers with more seasonally appropriate foliage...and instead of "taking" the flowers, I took the 1st floor's floor. And then I took the center part of the upstairs.

What a doofus. :o :p

Well if you are calling me a drama queen I'm wondering why you didn't PM me to tell me that.

Yeah - me too. Are Mari and Josh the only ppl we know building for that?

and Mari, is it okay to come peek? or is that against the rules?

I found Joan Jett singing that song. (They subtitled the lyrics, but they're often wrong.)

You are smart enough to know that the Lindens don't care about what's going on in here. Even if they were, why would I report it? That's just dumb. It doesn't bother me that there is a social thread here.

I disagree. I don't see you offereing helpful solutions to people asking question. And I'm sorry... you pointing out spelling errors is *not* something that happens very rarely. It happens every single day.

I'm not being emotional. I'm trying to reason with you.

I don't get why you need to say things about me and Three. How bout just stop?

Oh!!

And the auction I won was for a 1536sqm bit of water on a mature sim. It has access to Linden ocean. That's why I bought it.

Don't have any real plans for it yet though. A water-level dock, and/or sky-level workshop.

w00t! congrats again. i cant wait to see it!
