I got in trouble for using the litebright pegs in my easy bake oven. Mother would not let me have any more cake mixes or anything, so I stole my brother's litebright pegs and was making plastic cakes.

She didn't like that either. So it was a couple of days before I could sit down again. :)

Did anyone ever take a air conditioner apart, and get the metal pipe that had the sodium in it for tempature control? That was fun dropping it in the school pool. Was also good for a 2 day vacation. :)

I am dating Clover.

Living together, but I still ask her out for a date at times. the formality helps to let her know I am thinking about her and not just taking her for granted.

Which is kind of odd because in an old post once about trust I said I needed to be able to take her for granted.

Maybe it is all part of wanting everything.

We want security.
We want excitement.
We want a white vinyl copy of the Beatles' "White Album."
Some things are easier to obtain than others :D

Aww that sweet you still ask her out on dates!

I wasn't talking about you and Clover though, but was referencing Lindal's comment about all the goodbye posts in this thread.

Who has done digital scrapbooking? What program do you use? Where do you get the books printed?

I have been looking at it the last couple of days, and I can either find program that are easy to use but has no useful features, or useful features and you need a PHD to find the options!

Before the forum police show up, should we go back to every old but open thread and necropost it? Shall we raise from the dead every topic that hasn't been locked?

@Rhonda, I love that post of yours about you and Clover for all the things it says and doesn't say.

Just got back from lunch. Are we supposed to be pushing the thread count or not?

Yes, we should, but we should feel guilty about doing it.

The Microsoft Zune 4.0 software has been released. Has anyone tried it yet? Did it reduce the lag in Zindra? Is streaming in the clubs more stable?

Ok I am angry. I am really, really pissed off. I have rarely been this angry. I had the perfect Tandoori chicken for lunch from a place nearby that usually doesn't make it that good but today's was perfect. I was enjoying it SO much. There was a big fly flying around and I was keeping the top on the plate down so he couldn't get in. Just now I raised up the top to take a bite and the damn thing flew out, he'd been in there all along.

(How's that for an important, informative, SL related post?)

OH MY GOD!

What would have been worse would have been if he'd laughed as he flew off.

I used to work near this little coffee place that I loved. I knew everyone who worked there, and when things were slow I'd chat with them.

Then I changed jobs, and went from going there every day to not going at all, and I missed them.

So one day I had some business not too far away, and I went to visit. I sat down outside to drink my coffee, and just before I took my first sip, a HUGE fly tumbled down from the sky and landed square in my cup, dead.

I flipped it out really quickly and kind of mentally watched the fly contamination flowing out and filling the cup.

(To tell the truth I thought for one microsecond about drinking it anyway, but that voice was quickly beaten down by all the other voices in my head.)

LOL

When she mentioned the White Album, it reminded me of Doris Lessing's White Notebook. I should go read that again.

Uh oh. I pulled some similar stunts. I remember getting a lot of people very upset when I put the chocolate chips (for cookies) into the kiddie popcorn maker, thinking they would emulate popcorn kernels. They didn't :( Something totally different happened.

oh and i actually did some cool things just using windows movie maker and old photos for my parents anniversary. it's included in a lot of versions of windows and quite easy to use and you can make neat slideshows, include music and burn it to a dvd.
