/me commandeers Pep for a bit of sidelines-educating...and attempts to extricate him from his jungle.

and no, I am not a faerie, either. :p I'm more of a Tesla girl.

Morning Threadians - we survived annother night.

Well I posted a brief intro/hello/store thing @ SecondCitizen and no one bit me - yet :)

Hugs Lil - I don't have any wise words to share re love and relationships and all that- sometimes you just don't meet the right people and other times you cannot believe your good fortune- hoping the best for a turn around for you. I don't know the gentleman in question, I don't think, but healing wishes for both.

I think you will like slapt.me. Lord is a standup guy. :)

I appreciate your telling me.

Your note to me about SLU was almost enough to make me go there. I'm guessing that a lot of us will end up there, and my oldest and best friend in SL is there. So it seems like the obvious choice.

However, I don't think I can get away with looking at that site at work. It's too obviously not work-related, even if I shut off images.

At slapt.me, things are followed pretty closely by Lord and Constanza, and there is the whole marketplace part to it, so they have a strong reason to make it work well. It has an atmosphere that I like, even if I don't know anyone there yet. So I've started posting there, asking questions there, to make a little space for myself and make some connections.

That's all you can do. Yeah SLU is best used for at home recreational viewing. You never know what will pop up. That's good and bad.

*Takes your hug and sends you back 2.

Another vote for Lord Sullivan- he has been wonderfully supportive and helpful in the merchant side of things and Constaza as well. I have not joined the forum community though.

Well, I guess it's my turn, so in case I don't get another chance here goes.

I started coming to this forum not long after joining SL. In my early days it was a big help answering many questions that arose. Over time my habits changed to where most of my time was spent in Resident Answers, and lately I only rarely venture outside this thread.

I can't say enough about this thread. It is one of those things that can't be created, planned, organized, controlled or sadly, recreated. I'm honored to have been a small part of this amazing group of people. I feel like I have gotten to know many of you and consider you friends even though I may rarely have any contact outside of this thread.

I have no idea where I'll go when this thread is gone, but I hope I'll find a place with many of you all there.

My sincere best wishes to each and every one of you, whatever the future may bring.

As far as leaving, I'll be like the drunken party guest that has to be stuffed into a cab after all the beer is gone.

Until then, PARTY ON GARTH!!!!!!

Feeling a bit tearful at our impending demise. I am so glad to have been a part of something so great as this Thread- and the detractors can go stuff themselves - i have cared for every single one of you, have wanted to choke a couple of you at times and still keep my 2 x 4 handy. And if it weren't for this thread, I would never have met Damien.

Hugs you all :(

No, no, no....that's not it at all. You are quite hopeless.

*sighs*

/me looks longingly at the odometer

We're less than 140 away from 88000.

My personal goal is to post post 88888 (so I can put it on my resume).

Future Interviewer: Hmm, Ms. Okelli. It says here that you posted post number 88888 to the undying thread. Is that true?

Me: You betcha!

FI: Congratulations! You've got the job!

Me: Woo hoo!
