today i found out that i won't be starting my new job until next year. my immediate boss complained about losing me. as honored as i am that they 'need' me, i am not happy that's she's bullied yet another decision maker. :mad:

i wish i had power. i would SO shut her ass down.

to be honest, i must be on my best behavior. she's the type that gets you fired, and that would be disastrous.

i'll simply continue to be the quiet, timid little puppet i've learned to become (new skills, it's always growth when you learn new skills) and just keep lubricating until she's done with me. *sigh*

I was watching Lou Dobbs on CNN tonight, as I do evey night and he was talking about the political correctness of swine flu. Some scientists are eschewing the word swine to avoid offending their Israeli colleagues, so they started calling it Mexican Flu. Well, that's not gonna work, so some are calling it North American flu, but that isn't acceptable for everyone, so some are calling it H1N something or another. :rolleyes:
