I haven't a clue who that is - sorry Clive Owen, was in "Children of Men". Also a great movie from several years back, "Croupier" - not very well known but worth seeing. Clive Owen, was in "Children of Men". Also a great movie from several years back, "Croupier" - not very well known but worth seeing. Children of Men was a fabulous movie. I haven't seen Croupier, I will add it to my list. _____________________

Children of Men was a fabulous movie. I haven't seen Croupier, I will add it to my list. Was one of his first, if I remember. Plays a croupier (duh) in Vegas, kind of on the skids as a writer, who decides working in the casinos would make a good book and gets caught up in the life and what that entails, if I remember correctly. Very atmospheric and representative of the Vegas life. And he's great in it too. An understated and deep performance. _____________________

Ah, I do remember him telling me that kind of stuff. I try to zone out no more when he's chatting about interstates than he must when I'm chatting about SL. Actually -- because we like to take driving trips -- his knowledge has come in handy more than once. My knowledge (such as it is) about SL has yet to be pressed into any such service.

I agree about the kitty pics. Your weekend sounds lovely, Allegria. I would love to be able to sing well enough to perform on stage! I went to a great party on Saturday at my friend's place, which is a lovely comfortable house in a beautiful spot in the country. As always she served tons of fabulous food (almost all of it vegetarian) and her husband and mine and a bunch of other musician friends jammed on the deck. The weather was perfect and we had a great time. i forgot to go back and reply to Allegria's post about the singing. that sounds fun Alle.... i bet you had a great time. i would love to hear you sing some time. i am always appreciative of a lovely voice. Kaimi- your weekend sounds fabulous. sounds like what i totally find fun and interesting. and, of course, yummy food is never something to sneeze at. _____________________

I really enjoyed today's batch of pics, thanks everyone for posting them. Except for the 007 pic... Brenda, can I borrow that Eye Bleach, please? i had this perfectly innocent looking thing marked Thunderstorm.. I rezzed it. A huge cloud of black enveloped me! I culd not see!! The wind howled, the thunder roared! The very tree shook around me (OK, maybe not quite but..) then suddenly, though the rain continued to fall- the world had disappeared. Poof - nothing but sky arund me- The storm had washed away my new world.._____________________
