From: Maureen Boccaccio My grandmother had a set of fiestaware...in aqua and saffron. Gorgeous stuff. It only came out on certain occasions...and she had other fancier china for big time events. I never did figure out how she decided which set to use! I loved that fiestaware! But when I was in high school, my grandparents sold their house. they moved into a smaller place, they downsized, and gave the fiestaware to my aunt...who had 3 rambunctious boys. Within 2 years....the entire set was gone. They must have been particularly rambunctious, those dishes hold up rather well usually. What were they doing? Spinning them on sticks?

Ugh so I log in to the forums, really, for the first time in a week or so (just did quick scans before) and I seem to have caught Pep in a particularly ugly mood in the Cassandra threads. What gives?

What gives? Don't mention me, Oryx! You will doubtless soon be receiving a PM from Mo or another of the non-existent clique "suggesting" that you neither mention me nor quote me, on pain of the same excommunication they have visited on me! In brief, Love, Elora and Ghosty stitched me up, alienating my closest friends, and now they have gone I don't have to moderate or withhold opinions to avoid annoying them. Pep (Another LOLCAT? Compensating pic coming up)

From: Elora Lunasea 2nd Cassandra thread locked pending review now too. Confirming my opinion that "suicide" threads are *not* appropriate content for the RA forum. Pep (Whether the threats were real or not!)

Pep (Whether the threats were real or not!) Did it cross your mind, Mr Daniels, that the review in question might not have been of the original posts' content, but instead of some of the particularly scathing replies that one person in particular (*very hard stare*) responded with, and of that person's responses in general on this forum of late? Just something to ponder

Pep. That's it, I have had it with you.
Your pictures are intended to gross people out. Your posts make fun of people in serious distress. You belittle everyone, individually and collectively. And you have been getting worse.
You've driven more than one helpful, productive contributor to these forums away in complete disgust.
You were amusing for a while, say about five posts, but it's just too expensive emotionally to keep you around any more. You're costing us good people.
Even putting you on Ignore hasn't helped, because I see the effect you have on others. I'm submitting a request to LL that you be banned from the forums. I am muting you in world and banning you from my land. If I see your stupid gray outline in world, you'd better run, because I'll AR you on the slightest excuse. Such as being within my draw distance.
You are a miserable excuse for a human being, and I for one am sick and tired of having you around.

From: Elora Lunasea I knew I liked you! When I moved into this apartment with Ghosty, I think he nearly fainted when he saw how much Fiesta I had. I can feed a small army on it Best thing about it is some pieces wind up being worth money at times. I have a lilac pyramid candlestick I purchased about 15 years ago from Bloomingdales for $10 that is worth at least $700 now (last time I checked, which is a while ago). Not a bad return! I never use it, it sits in a cabinet, I'm terrified now I'll break it! I also have a *stack* of the stuff. All post-86, aside from a couple pieces of the original. At this point, it's something like a setting for 20 or so. All the post-86 colors 'cept Sapphire and Lilac. We use it, though there are a couple special pieces that don't come out very often.

Just something to ponder You have answered your own question, it appears. My contributions were replies and responses, giving my opinions on the relevance or appropriateness of the posts of others, This forum is called Residents Answers and my opinion, even if it is not a saccharin as others, is just as valid. Pep (And if people take an ad hominem attitude towards my posts, then I feel justified in responding in kind.)

I think I have setting for 18 now About to order the new color, I think it's "Chocolate"? May even be two colors I don't have now - an ivory I think? I got forgetful with the move here and all Good thing I still have some room for it!
