Last night, Jerboa took me to an interactive science museum in Sploland. SOOOOOO COOOOOOOOL.

In this exhibit, you could set up the dominoes, and then push the smallest, trying to get them to fall on each other:

The museum is quite extensive; we barely made it through all the exhibits in one building...and there are several others!

I can't believe this thread is still going. I took a two month break from SL and come back to the forums and still see this crap of inane banter being passed back and forth. God damn, I do truly hate SL (and the Internet) at times.

I'm sure the feeling is mutual.

I feel like a f*cking Tool for putting up with it for 7-8yrs...
I refuse to love or trust anyone that much ever again.

Ohh, Tod.

Believe me, you won't always feel that way.

You did the right thing in putting yourself out, and being so open and giving. It wasn't a mistake on YOUR part, it was a mistake on HERS.

I had a horrible first marriage, and so did my husband, so we both were EXTREMELY wary about hooking up when we first began seeing each other.

However, being badly burned the first time increases your chances of having a good relation the second. You're not as easy to fool, especially when it comes to fooling yourself, and you demand more because you know how f**ked up things can get.

You're right to be angry and hurt now, but it will pass.

/me sends hugs your way

If you would prefer, I'll be more than happy to discuss both game theory, and rational action theory as they pertain to various economic and geopolitical problems faced by the international community.

Or would you prefer to opine on how societal pressures influence rational decision making in microeconomics?

Perhaps we could discuss population mutation of the e-coli virus into a wholly new organism that can metabolize sugars? I believe in a clinical test, that occurred somewhere around the 50-70,000th generation.

Feynman's nobel-winning work on QED?

Kant? Popper?

Name the non-inane topic. Your play. :)

I got a great laugh out of this one. It's someone throwing a log on a fire because they think the fire's too high.

Seriously, though, if this thread could make someone hate the INTERNET, well, we must be doing something right. Maybe we should make T-shirts that say "Infrastructure sucks".

Or "Infrastructure sucks (at times)"

How about "The World as seen from The Basement"?

We've had our idiot poster of the day, so Pep, you are off the hook. ;)

lol pretty sure I have an outfit like that too. I love her in that film.
Exploring yesterday, and Craz showed me the Kubrick Rooms - We met Max and Brann there too. After seeing the Korova Milk Bar in SL, I suppose I should prolly watch the film while actually paying attention :o

Eitherjkm, lhjkn,*

*This was posted by Boomer. I had the window open to say hi to Spike, but stepped away to get some coffee. He jumped up on the desk and had his massive paws on the keyboard. What's the old saying about monkeys at a typewriter?

I'm amazed that an actual word came out, starting the line, properly capitalized. This dog is smart, perhaps too smart for my own good.

Good morning (or whatever) folks!

Say what you will but eventually everyone will post in this thread.

Just today we've got a range of posters from someone that hates this thread, the interent, and SL to Brenda's dog.

I love it! :)
