From: Love Hastings I also noted a difference between pleasureplanet.net and pleasureplanet.com. The former seems to be a budding virtual world, while the latter seems to want me to watch 19 year olds have sex for the first time. Or at least, with something that big for the first time. Huh. OMG - I had not even noticed there were two with the same beginning name. I originally got there via a link in the grid-merging thread.

There is a way, via the Advanced menu, to basically turn yourself almost invisible or wire mesh or something.
However, usually easier to detach the item, attach again specifying something like your nose, edit it and drag it way out from the body, detach, attach to where it originally went, then it should be far away so edit and move it to where you want.

OK- the traditional place to set this is Spine- when i do that it is inside my body- who made it originally, attached it to chest- not the most brilliant of decisions since an article of prim clothing seems sensible to attach it to ur chest if that's what it is supposed to be covering! So when I put on my new top, the original thing poofed- when i replaced it after a moment of OMG! I was quite bare from the waist up- so... tried to correct but it materialized inside m tummy- talk about indigestion! Wiremesh did not make it possible to re-orient and I ended up naked, hairless and a nervous wreck - i now have hair and different out fit but i am not thrilled i cannot wear m new creation. and trust me- it was sheer hell to line that sucker up so i really don't want to reposition it. So Lil- what u r saying is if I attach it to m nose and then after pulling it way out- i reattach it to spine it will materialize farther out than inside me? I will try another night though- one shock is enough for one night. Thanks.

Hey...if you haven't tried this viewer, you might want to at least check it out. I got a higher fps rate and less lag. But!!! One of its neater features is that it has a texture preview window! You open your inventory, and then press Ctrl A, and presto, another window opens...with previews of all your textures!! http://www.armyof4.com/Kirstenlee/SecondLife/You're looking for the Kirstens Viewer S16 Build 90.exe version.

Well, I am hoping that my seriously laggy self lately is due to the Linden stuff going on - like the scheduled outage for today. Mo - last night i had the kick butt fps of 2.3 and even 1.8 at one point With both Kirsten viewers even after I shut off everythign I knew what the heck it was running in back ground. Boohoo- maybe- i hope- better after whatever they r doing. I also noted my inventory it taking for-friggin ever to load.

Good morning threadies Very busy today, so I thought I'd bring you breakfast before I got inundated with stuff! LOL Off to temple inworld first, so I thought an Indian breakfast was in order. These are dosas, which are crepes made with rice and lentils. They get filled with chicken or whatever suits your fancy. Some people include strong coffee and fruit for balance. I need to get Elora out for some of this early one morning.

From: LittleMe Jewell This made me laugh. One of our dogs is a Husky - 6 yrs old and still full puppy. His legs are so long, he can rest his chin on the kitchen counters with only the slightest of tips to his head. The other day I heard a thud in the kitchen and then his nails on the floor as he skidded to the family room. I went in there and found him on his blanket with the last half of my summer sausage in his mouth. I had forgotten and left it sitting on the counter. Had a Husky that learned to open the refrigerator door. Ate the meat and let the German Shepherd have the little piece of paper that catches the blood. We blamed the Shepherd (no idea how she stole the meat), then one night when we were in the family room we saw a light come on in the kitchen. Stupid dog forgot to press the little catch that keeps the frig light off.

I've had this many times. Yummy. I know a place near where we used to live that makes them very well however, last time I was there there were some bugs crawling on the walls so I've never returned However, I never knew they were served as breakfast food - oh my how I'd love to start the day in that fashion! Yep, maybe India IS the trip we need after all

Good morning everyone! It's almost balmy here today. 20F already! Yay! I can vouch for the new viewer as well. The texture viewer is a major boon. Or...it would be if I ever finish sorting all my textures into sensible folders. Gah! It also has a built in avatar scanner as well. It will show the name/distance of all avatars in 50m? (I think), and give you the option of TPing to them. The one thing I've noticed though, is that things rez in a different order. And for me they are rezzing very slowly. At a few places over the past few nights, it could take as long as 5 minutes for Maureen to rez at all for me..not even a cloud. Once everything is rezzed, performance seems to be really good. Of course, it still has the palletized texture bug for nvidia users.
