This pic just made me laugh out loud. My sister and her husband have a shar pei, named Boomer (I call him my nephew :p)

He is NOT a trustworthy dog whenever food is within reach. One time during an Oscars-watching party, we had some roast chicken out on a platter...just a teensy bit too close to the edge of the table.

Turned our backs...chicken gone. :( :p

He also managed to snag the dip for some crudite this past Thanksgiving. :D

If he wasn't so darn cute...
This made me laugh. One of our dogs is a Husky - 6 yrs old and still full puppy. His legs are so long, he can rest his chin on the kitchen counters with only the slightest of tips to his head. The other day I heard a thud in the kitchen and then his nails on the floor as he skidded to the family room. I went in there and found him on his blanket with the last half of my summer sausage in his mouth. I had forgotten and left it sitting on the counter.

Commercial radio is teh suck nowadays. I'm not paying for satellite that's for sure. I'm in the car a lot, I never listen to music stations any more. It's either talk stations, or *gasp* NPR, or I'm listening to audio books or music cd's. Clear Channel and Westwood One can bite me. I can't stand their bland cookie cutter playlists.
Clear Channel actually owns our most popular AM talk radio station and it is about all I ever listen to in the car. At home, I only do CDs.

Well I went ahead and registered with the forum at PleasurePlanet and requested creation of an inworld account to be a Beta tester. Given the direction that LL is taking SL in, I may actually buy some of the land at their 'promo' prices.

I sent moderator an IM pleading for the threads to be read through from start to end to see that this was a rather clever piece of humor executed brilliantly by Linda over the length of the threads.

It is ludicrous that it has to be spelled out s-lo-w-l-y when it should be clear by just looking at the list entries.

Yeah, yeah- registered, got email, confirmed- then went to Beta tester thing to ask for info- but where it sd Username it sd that name taken - duh! b me :) so i added the info and gave my name in the bod of the the post- we shall see. Me i dont want to leave SL- SL is home- but honestly... if kids run amok and they do "clean up" I dont much care to stay- I want my freedom to live how i want to live. I am actually rather tame and mostly go about decently attired however if i want to run about in one of m body tats dammit i want to run about in one of m body tats- period!

I am not interested in a purely sexual place mind u- I want SL- i had registered for that RedLight thing but never went in - seemed stupid- I am not on the make; registered at Open Lfe but not gungho over it- registered at Legend- meh also- Only SL is SL and they might destroy that :(.

Yeah, I understand. I created a Legends acct (I think), a Lively acct, one for There, OpenLifeGrid, and Multiverse (hell, some of those might just be forums). I only logged in to There and only did that once. But I decided to get my name on this new one and see what it is like, just in case. I have absolutely no desire to spend my time in SL if there are kids running amok and the whole place feeling like Disney.

PleasurePlanet? Is that what Red Light District became? I know it changed its name at some point.

saw later comment by Mistress. I assume, then, that it isn't Red Light District in new form.

I also noted a difference between pleasureplanet.net and pleasureplanet.com. The former seems to be a budding virtual world, while the latter seems to want me to watch 19 year olds have sex for the first time. Or at least, with something that big for the first time. Huh.
