Two Hollywood icons have passed today:

Ricardo Montalban, fantasy island's Mr Roarke and Star Trek's Khan

And Patrick McGoohan, best known as The Prisoner, and Secret Agent
Oh noooooo.
:(

Well, it did scare me a little bit too, Elora. However I held on to "myself". Poor puppy!

This makes me very very sad.

I think I'll watch the Prisoner series again in remembrance.

*agrees . . . thinks about it, gets confused look*

Build was on? That is confusing.

I'm not sure if it was or not, kitten...but I can think of a way to do it while wearing the prim instead of rezzing it. You'd have to prepare it in advance, of course.

I've wanted the box set forever now, and keep forgetting to hunt it down. I guess I'd better hop to it.

Somewhere on the grid, maybe a month or so ago, I got accosted by Rover whilst crossing a cornfield. Funny as heck and very well done, too. I'll have to try and find it again.

Well worth it. The restoration is first class. Especially the audio.

Nothing yet actually. I've got the place fairly well puppy proofed. I did lose a pair of pants that he tore into when I first brought him home. He does like the books on the bookshelf so I have to watch that, and he likes to gnaw on the bottom shelf of my computer table, it's old, so I let him have that much. He also likes to pick up his water bowl and run through the house with it.

he sounds like such a cutie. pixplskthx. i sure hope the water bowl is emptied first. :D

Thank you. A couple more here: http://s497.photobucket.com/albums/rr336/Amaranthim_Talon/

Re Ricardo Montalvan :( He was - well- he will be greatly missed, I am sure. No idea of course what the man was like, but the actor- the characters he portrayed were always amazing. From the really old stuff to the Spy Kid movies to the Corinthian leather.. As an actor the man could no wrong. I was a fan I guess, though i never thought about it before :( I loved the accent.

Cultural icons, both. I loved The Prisoner but then I was very disappointed that it just kind of petered out without explaining anything or really going anywhere. I like stories like that much better if they all come cleverly together at the end. Like Babylon 5 - the BEST SHOW EVER.

Another good reason to sleep nude.

Oh wait you said "on them" Yes the book is about a woman who has pajamas with frogs printed on them. Some pajamas are pretty cute but they all want to bunch up and be uncomfortable.

i done really screwed up.

i just called in to see if i had to report for jury duty tomorrow, and found out i was SUPPOSED TO CALL LAST NIGHT and i was expected to appear this morning.

i will go first thing tomorrow morning, but i am TOTALLY scared that i could have to pay a $1000 fine or spend 5 days in jail.

they wouldn't do that to a first time screwer-upper, would they?

.oO(insert nervous LOL here)

i just spoke to my boss, and she says she did that once. she called and they just put her back in the jury selection pool and forgave it.

so, i'm gonna go to work and call first thing in the morning to get it straightened out. i'm still a little  but i'm gonna have faith that they get this all the time, and understand that some of us are boneheads (thereby not really quality jury material anyway).

wut a dumbass!
