omg...I love The Onion. One of the best Onion articles I ever read was their recounting of the Apollo 11 moon landing.

The first article I ever read from the Onion was about an Anti-trust lawsuit filed against god to force him to break up into smaller deities.

Morning Threadies. :)

From The Onion - my sentiments exactly:

Thanks you. Yes I made it just before I started partying. I looks better now because I made several improvements to it during the course of the evening lol.

I always think I'm not a big fan of orange but then sometimes I really like it; I liked it on you a lot. I can see that it suits your bold vibrant personality, too.

The pics of Oryx that I lost were much better than the accidental one I salvaged from a picture of someone else. I was really pleased with the lighting, angle, pose everything. I wasn't able to get anyone else nearly as good. I wish I had gotten better shots of you for instance but really it was like working while submerged in molasses or treacle.

like everyone else, i dared not take pics lest i crash. but i do have some from before i came to the party. perhaps i PS them a little before i post them.

For those that like Retro clothing, Lemania is doing a New Year's hunt, with most other vendors on the sim participating also, and the items (probably mostly ladies clothing) are suppose to be mostly or all Retro. Lemania said she was putting out 50 items and the other sim stores were adding another 30.

i hope Claire sees this posting.

i will go later today! thanks! :D

BTW folks, I'm very sad that I missed the party, but I'm glad to hear that it was such a fun success for you all. Too bad about the poor state of SL snapshots lately...

Oh- and I had a nightmare.. I dreamt some vindictive bastard thought it would be funny to kill our Thread so they had it closed :( it woke me up. So glad, like JR, it was just a dream.

this thread has put SL in the internet news by it's sheer post count alone. free advertising without effort or cost. it'd be stupid to kill it off now. like, shooting yourself in the foot or something.
