Similar thing in Italian... at a New Year's Party I once went around telling everyone "Buon Ano" until a friend stopped me and said, "No."

You have to hang on to the N to make it "Buon Anno."

It's good to have both, I suppose.

re: house chores, etal

the only real chores i can escape from daily is dusting. i do that when someone is coming over, or hubby complains. other than that, it really is necessary to keep things tidy and sanitary.

i do not enjoy chores, i wish i had paid help to do this crap. but, it is my job and i have allowed that to be the case. i have a very good life, and my husband and children deserve a clean and tidy environment.

but, if any of them wants something done and i am not in the mood, they can just do it themselves. and they do. my husband does a lot of house chores if he's feeling impatient. i feel guilty sometimes, but he grew up with a white-glove mother, so it's more important to him sometimes, and that's his problem.

i just do what's necessary. the rest can wait. or do it yourself. the end.

Happy New Year, my friends.

i don't have any set plans for tonight. we usually have a party here, but #1 i am not in the mood this year and #2 i can't quite afford it this year.

i am taking my MIL shopping tomorrow, so i will probably go to bed early.

i just need to decide what to cook for dinner tonight. something yummy would be nice, although i read someone say "chinese take out" and that's sort of sounding fab right now too. decisions decisions.

i dunno if i will be inworld or not. that's up to hubby - he might have other, more romantic plans or might want to watch some boring movie or sports show. we haven't discussed it yet.

*nods* I couldn't get my camera to capture all that I had rezzed, but it is also partial because I didn't have enough prims to rez all of them. I've even picked up my trees now. heh.

Oh, and while I couldn't get it, I noticed Teegan's (I think that Linden) bear is 231 prims.
