Good Morning to All...Hope everyone had a wonderful holiday, ours went off without a hitch :)

Thanks to you who posted well wishes on the thread and to those who sent them in private, much appreciated.

Well, we finally had some nice temps over the weekend and everything melted...nice to see the grass and street again, lol.

Congrats Lil on the honor, I saw the notice come through...You do beautiful justice to that gown :)

Why I love West Texas ...
12-29-2008 06:14

Taken with my cell phone while driving home after the christmas visit with family.

Depending on how things go the next few days, this may be last I see of it.
Houston to follow the job (maybe -- IF this office closes and IF there is a job to go to ..)
Austin and look for a job in the IT Meca of Texas.
Or stay here and find a job making half of what I am now.

No decisions until after the 1st, tho. And I may be worring over nothing anyway.

While doing the latest TQ hunt, one of the sims had created lots and lots of snow-people in many humorous poses. I took pics of all of them because they were so comical. You can see them all here, if you wish:

I think I've seen this guy before somewhere...
but my recollection's been bleached out....

Howdy folks!!!

I hope everyone is doing well.

I don't know if I'll catch up with the thread or even try. LOL
Did I miss anything important?

Yosef, good luck with the job. If you end up in Austin I'll be jealous. If you end up in Houston maybe I can buy you a beer someday. :)

Amara, I love this picture...and the texture on your skirt is amazing! I feel as though I could reach out and touch the velvet.

Isn't it gorgeous!! It is from Falln- god that guy is talented - they should be on my W-2's as much as I have bought from there :D - Not sure if I uploaded them but there is a nice one with the peacock I took last night too. The colors of his feathers complemented the dress nicely- hey! I want a peacock shoulder pet :D (but a quiet one...)

I 'll just take that it is still going and go with it as opposed to catching up, maybe someone will summarize. I left town on Saturday and the ground was covered in snow, drove down to Baltimore, and came back last night to no more snow, so I'm a Happy Camper this sunny Monday Morning.

And LOL on hoping for a quiet peacock. Only in SL would that be possible!

G'night an g'mornin, thread!

Well, this week was the start of Camp HardKnock f'r the Winter session, so that kinda dominated a lotta stuf. There's were a couple other things I did too, though.

For one, I managed to get some time on I-World Island for the Winter Festival concert, an also go to get to Phaylen Fairchild's 6th (!) rezday party. I dun often do a lotta dance party events, but these were run an it was great to so 'em with friends an all. Here's a piccie from Phaylen's rez day:

Camp, though, that's seeeerious fun. They only hold them every so often (the last one was in late July) an they fill up super fast. this one was sold out in about 24 hours.

It opened on Saturday right around 4:00 p.m. SLT. Here I am, all packed up and ready to go!

Camp is bigger this year, spanning two sims. There's tons to do, including skiing, skating, ice fishing, snowball fights, an a whole lot more t'do too. An we usually find stuff to do as well.

This is kinda a snowy piccie of camp, showin' the main lake area an the cabins an all.

An here's one of me skiing...

An jes f'r fun, here's one from ice fishing, too. I won two trophies there!

An that's th' weekend! Hope ya'll had fun ones, too!

you always have so much fun! i love this pic of the camp. looks like a postcard. love love love your pic of you getting off the bus. books on head..... LOLOL

Not even. My next door neighbor - who is NEVER home mind you, and barely has anything on his land, somehow has managed to rez a peacock which squawks NONSTOP. Let alone, it's practically on the borderline of our properties so whenever I'm sitting in my backyard, in the sitting area I have no choice but to be subjected to the incessant sound of this thing.

I've thought about sending a message to him, but it seems such a petty thing to complain about particularly since I really don't use the house all that much. :o
