It's really amazing how real this can be - logically of course, there was no need for me to feel all that upset- he was a pixel creation - but we all now just how deeply SL can affect us. I know I do.

I am amazed at how real it can feel. By the way Amara, I missed your post with the picture of it, but the statue in La Reve was amazingly powerful. I saw it Saturday night, and the image is still with me. I'm going to have to go back again, just to stare at it. The sculptor managed to capture something very special there. Thank you for sharing it.

i failed to mention that i could be blind and know when another kitty is near - because Jimi is ALWAYS by my side, and he coos when another kitty comes around. it's a cute sound that i can't describe. he tries to be friendly, and for the most part everyone is getting along.

he's quite a little character. he'll be ruling the roost around here when he gets a little bigger. he's not afraid to take on Molly, but since she's such an experienced woman, he doesn't (yet) stand a chance. he's very aggressive, just doesn't have the know-how to back it up. he even takes on the dog.

The creature was one of the freebies given out by Grendal's for Christmas. Called Amphiban. So I called it a frog.

No one in the audience rezzed, except for some hair, prim toes, one face, etc. There were times when the dancing looked like stop motion photography, and sometimes when they were really dancing around. Oh, and the stage for the first act was rezzed because it had a long time to rez. It changed, though, during the performance and the stage never rezzed after that. Unless they meant to dance before blank grey screens.

i loved having a tree for Jimi. he must have pulled out the tree skirt 100 times. he never actually scaled the tree from the trunk up (as i had hoped) but he did manage to take a few running leaps from the couch arm on to the tree and knock a ton of ornaments off a couple of times.

I finally changed my standard clothing when HoneyBear gave me a gift.

oh, that sux. too bad, cuz i bet it was a cool show if the lag hadn't been so evil. i wonder if the dancers were having nasty lag too... ugh.

There were times when I got the distinct impression that the main dancer was thinking "why did I agree to this?" The nutcracker had turned from the doll to a man and he was dancing around. Then she would dance around. Then she would stand and her head would move, looking not animation broken. Gazing down at the stage.

There was also one occasion when four women were to fly in on carpets and dance around on the carpets flying above the stage. I saw four women on the rugs behind the stage (hey, it's SL, I can move my camera around). The time came. I saw three women on rugs. I had anchored my camera on one to try to take a closer snapshot and she raised up. Dancing over. They hovered above the stage and there was the fourth dancer up there. Something must have happened that caused her to not be able to descend.
