Wow. I recognize that song. I came to the UK in 1965 and stayed for five years but I don't remember that Dave Berry at all.

Depending on how things go the next few days, this may be last I see of it.
Houston to follow the job (maybe -- IF this office closes and IF there is a job to go to ..)
Austin and look for a job in the IT Meca of Texas.
Or stay here and find a job making half of what I am now.

No decisions until after the 1st, tho. And I may be worring over nothing anyway.
Beautiful sky. Best of luck with the changing job situation.

My next door neighbor - who is NEVER home mind you, and barely has anything on his land, somehow has managed to rez a peacock which squawks NONSTOP. Let alone, it's practically on the borderline of our properties so whenever I'm sitting in my backyard, in the sitting area I have no choice but to be subjected to the incessant sound of this thing.

I've thought about sending a message to him, but it seems such a petty thing to complain about particularly since I really don't use the house all that much. :o
Maybe you could ask him if there's a way you could turn it off when you are home... (There probably isn't but it might give him the hint to only turn it on when he's home.)

The peacock. The neighbor may think I was coming on to him.

I've already had him, his "sister" and the "sister's" lover all make advances to me. She called me told me I was "exquisite" when we first met, and flat out told me she would make me hers. The nerve to assume such a thing!

The whole crew of them creeped me out.
Ah. I'm beginning to see why you don't want to talk to him if you don't have to.

Mute the owner of the peacock. That should shut the bird up.

Someone living near us had a large grandfather clock rezzed in their home. Its ticking and chiming got on my nerves. I tried muting the clock, tried muting the sound prim, but in the end only muting the clock's owner silenced it.

I am amazed at how real it can feel. By the way Amara, I missed your post with the picture of it, but the statue in La Reve was amazingly powerful. I saw it Saturday night, and the image is still with me. I'm going to have to go back again, just to stare at it. The sculptor managed to capture something very special there. Thank you for sharing it.

Saw a ballet performance of "The Nut" in SL.

Saw some flowers that suggested that I eat meat.

Visited La Reve.

Rioko is a cute puppy, Crazod is a large frog.

Was on a swing with HoneyBear

Oh, Soji - great pics today!

In the first one, I thought Bec had joined the ballet. *grins*

The second one scared me a bit

The third - I enjoyed greatly, since I just saw that piece of art on Saturday. *smiles*

In the fourth, Craz looks shocked by seeing Rioko as a frog.

And you and Honey look fabulous in the fifth pic, as you swing on the swing at the hangout.

Seriously? I had NO idea that would work.

I'm going to try that as soon as I get home tonight. Thanks for the tip!

can't decide which is worse, having a neighbour who has annoying stuff like noisy clocks n pets, or having one who stands and stares at you...
