From: Maureen Boccaccio Cool pic. Amara...who built the workshop...Steely? If so, I am wondering -- was he wearing the correct tag at the time...is there an autoreturn on your land? Have you talked to the region owner? The workshop is Steely's he just keeps replacing them out of inventory- the pieces of the castle that had poofed before, same thing- but the missing pose ball was mine. Two different regions all together- Mainland, one Intromoto and the other Misto Presto above Talon Faire. I may just call LL today, get their take on it.

GM all... My TP issues continue, and are contagious. One of my friends/tenants is having trouble TPing to and from my sim, as is Kash as he tries to come home and leave. Makes freebie hunting impossible. *sigh* Who wakes up sick two days before Christmas? Yep, you got it, and don't even get the luxury of laying in bed, because most of the support staff is on vacation this week and someone (read: me) has to be on the phones and get out a 240 letter mailout. *sigh* My mom arrived from California yesterday...so my SL time is going to be severely curtailed until the 2nd of Jan. *sigh* Can I please go back to bed now??

It always seems that when we should be focusing on peace, love, and goodwill to others, the world has a way of trying to derail us with extra helpings of stress, and trial. I hope you feel better soon. Cherish the time you have with your Mother...those moments are all too often few and far between. And remind yourself that if Kash can't TP out...you'll always know where to find him. *sending you all the Christmas cheer I can muster up* See you in world when you can get there!

My scariest fog story was when I was living in Milan. In the winter the fog gets so thick, you can't see across the street. I remember looking out my apartment window and thinking someone had hung a sheet over it.
We had a friend who'd been out of commission for a long while, on account of a terrible car accident. She'd made an amazing recovery, was walking and driving again...
One night, after a party, I went back with her to her house, many miles away on road through the valley.
Of course, the fog was as thick as ever. It was like a dream. I couldn't see ANYTHING beyond the dashboard, and the cars coming from the opposite direction would suddenly appear when they were a few feet away. You couldn't see headlights or tail lights... nothing.
Plus, I didn't know the road at all, even if I had been able to see it.
My friend did, so she drove at 100 kilometers an hour, and talked to me the whole time.
"Oh there's a famous tower over there... and here is the river..."
I didn't dare to turn my head, and my mouth hung open the whole time, I was so frightened. My eyebrows nearly went to the back of my head, my eyes were open so wide.
"Oh, and here is where I had my accident!" she exclaimed.
Jesus Christ, did she have to *tell* me?
I suppose it would make a great roller-coaster ride... it scared me to death, and I was ready to kiss the ground (if it weren't so dirty) when I stumbled out of the car.

From: Jerboa Haystack neat! Do those come in a men's size 10? Yes, they do... Camera Oscura... I think the mens' and women's shoes don't look much different from each other. They're big and clunky, but come in several colors.

OMG, I had a similar experience. Couldn't see anything, not even the hood in front of the car. I wasn't the one driving. I was the one praying. On another topic, how's everyone's weather for the holidays setting up and travel? Here it's rainy and expected to rain on Christmas, but I don't mind as long as it's not flooding rain. It's moderately raining on and off.

From: Maureen Boccaccio ...and upon reaching the Lebanon Mountain pass...FOG. FOG FOG FOG!!! Taconic Trail is worse. *shudder* Not as bad as where 3 was...but potentially fatal just as easily. But then I grew up living halfway between "Hairpin Turn" and "Dead Man's Curve".

From: Jerboa Haystack Permanent seating for 20, and a docking bay that rezzes a little flying ship. Permanent seating? The passengers can't leave? Reminds me of a science fiction story.

We'll miss you inworld...but I'm glad you'll have some time with your mom. Every time I start to roll my eyes at something I need to do for my folks...I stop and give thanks that they're still here...and healthy....for me to roll my eyes at.
